We recently ordered the Onam Sadya from Sheela Palace for delivery in Dublin (for 4 people), and it was an amazing experience from start to finish. They promised delivery before 1 pm, and right on time, exactly before 1, the food arrived - perfectly packed and neatly arranged. The packaging was excellent, nothing spilled, and everything stayed fresh. The food itself was exceptional - far better than most Indian restaurants here in Ireland. Many places tone down the spices for local preferences, but Sheela Palace kept the flavors authentic and true to Kerala. Every dish - from the rice, thoran, kichadi, and all the Onam Sadya specials - had its own distinct taste, right balance of spices, and felt exactly like home. The rice was cooked perfectly, the curries had depth of flavor, and nothing was overly sweet or adjusted. It was authentic Kerala food. For us, living away from home, this meal really touched our hearts. We were so happy and fully satisfied, it felt like celebrating Onam back in Kerala. Compared to the past two Onams where we tried Sadya from different events but didn't enjoy much, this was a complete game-changer. From now on, Sheela Palace will be our go-to for authentic Indian food in Dublin. We would highly recommend them to anyone looking for real flavor, authentic Kerala taste, and excellent service

Visited the place for the first time, turns out their Dosa was not available at 8pm dinner time. The place played only south Indian language songs (no hindi or english). The place is warm and cozy for couples and families however the food that we ordered- Shahi paneer and the paneer kulcha was spicy for someone who eats mild spicy. The restaurant seems to be taking good care of Customers for buffet. Dine in for a la carte is relatively slower.

The food was good. However, the service did not meet the same standard. The staff appeared overwhelmed and inattentive. We ordered an additional item that, unfortunately, never arrived despite a long wait. It was also quite difficult to communicate with the staff, as they seemed preoccupied and unavailable.

Decent food at luxury-resort prices—31 euros for a beef roast, 2 porottas, and 2 teas. The 4-euro tea tasted more like tap water’s cousin. Worth a visit only if you’re running out of places and eager to splurge on mediocrity.

Sheela Palace in Lucan, Sunday lunch buffet was a letdown. Limited options, nothing wow. Cutlery was also limited didn't feel like a complete experience. And the playlist was pretty one-dimensional would've loved some Bollywood tracks. Might not go back.

Wilde & Green

20/11/2025: Wilde and Green in Milltown is one of those places that seems to have been designed by someone with excellent taste and absolutely no interest in where you’re supposed to park your car. You arrive hungry, optimistic, and ready for lunch, only to find a small car park across the road that appears to operate on a first come, first serve, and good-luck-to-you system. There are, technically, two spaces outside, but they are about as attainable as front-row tickets to a sold-out gig. Once you manage to wedge your vehicle somewhere within the general postcode, however, things take a turn for the better. I went in with my uncle for an early lunch. He ordered the breakfast sandwich, I took the chicken sandwich, and both arrived pre-made but warmed up to a level that, against all odds, actually works. My uncle then demolished a scone with the enthusiasm of a man who has found his true calling. The coffees followed: he became an instant devotee of their cappuccinos, while I stuck with an americano that did exactly what it was supposed to do without making a fuss about it. The staff were sound, friendly, and helpful in the kind of effortless way that makes you forgive nearly anything. They’ve also got a gourmet range of bits you can take home, all of which look dangerously tempting, especially if you're the type who shouldn’t be trusted with a credit card while hungry. In the end, Wilde and Green is one of those spots that would be almost perfect if someone could simply magic twenty extra parking spaces into existence. But once you’re inside, with a warm sandwich, a good coffee, and the faint smell of baked goods calling your name, you forget the minor battle you had outside. Worth a visit. Just bring patience for the parking.
