One of the best dining experiences we’ve had in a long time. Food was delicious and beautifully presented. Highly recommended!

Just spent four nights at the Shirley Arms Hotel (Mon-Fri). From first contact (email query), the team have been fantastic 👏 The hotel is lovelly, and all of the team are super welcoming, friendly and helpful, but a special shout out to Aoibheann in the bar restaurant, who was super fantastic 👍 Food was lovelly, and by far my favorite was the Sizzler steak dish with creamy garlic potato gratin (see picture) 🫡 I should say, that I had already ate some, and cut the potatoes up, so the picture probably doesn't do the food full justice 🤔 Some people have commented (negatively) on the cost of the food, and yep - they are not the cheapest, but - and here's the thing, you get what you pay for, . . . For me, I received value for money, and wouldn't think twice about staying here again in the future 😎 Lots of onsite parking, great rooms and attentive housekeeping for the rooms, and if you have forgotten anything a 'Super Valu' supermarket next door, . . . . . . . Seriously, what's not to like 🙂

A hidden beauty, staff are extremely helpful and accommodation, food is very well priced , room is lovely and well furnished, shower is very warm which i personally like, and ample parking with gated and cctv , 5 stars all day long

Brilliant Christmas party dinner with work colleagues. Everyone was very happy with their food and choice variety.

Staff were friendly and very helpful food was excellent the accessible room was excellent plenty of room for wheelchair top notch

We used this hotel for a recent surprise coffee event for a friend's birthday. The service was generous and staff were very accommodating and friendly. I would definitely recommend using this hotel for a get together.

We got an old room and the bed was so uncomfortable + the bathroom in really bad need of refurbishment

We stayed a couple of nights here and enjoyed being in Carrick. The rooms were very nice but left down by two elements. Firstly, during fairly warm summer weather they were extremely hot with no ability to fully open the windows. Secondly, the shower was very hot and extremely difficult to alter the temperature due to a very stiff control tap - this was the case in multiple rooms (we knew other people staying here) and is something they need to sort out. Breakfast was generally good but could have done with at least some vegetarian options. Service was pleasant and the reception staff were particularly good.
