Shouk in Dublin

The food is incredible and busting with Middle Eastern flavours. It’s very popular and it is hard to get a booking. Also, if you’ve a time slot you’ll probably have to leave as soon your booking is over because there’s someone else waiting to try the food. Give it a go

Fabio was amazing. We had an issue with the wrong order being sent out, and he didn’t make us feel bad for it whatsoever! Absolutely lovely guy, really made the experience even better for us :)

We happened to be at DCU St Patrick's campus for an event and were looking for a place to have dinner when we came across Shouk. I'm a big fan of Middle-Eastern cousine and was delighted with Shouk's fare. It was fortunately a dry and warm day and so a table in the large open courtyard at the back was perfect. We did not have a reservation and were lucky to get a table judging from how busy it was that Sunday evening. The food was hands down amazing. The small vegetarian mezze was not that small and the variety and flavours were like nothing I've had at similar restaurants in Dublin. The Aubergine main course was unique and delicious! The Shackshouka was mouth-wateringly sumptuous. It was just the right amount of spicy to counteract the sweetness of the tomatoes and very filling. The mezze, 2 main courses, a kids meal and a beer set us back about €60. Mind you it was too much and we couldn't finish it all even though we walked in famished. I'd say the Mezze and a main shared amongst 2 people is more than enough to leave your tummy satiated. Update: visited again in Feb 2026 and the back courtyard is now completely covered and heated. Far more tables available compared to earlier. Some great wines added to the menu as well.

Best kept secret in Dublin North. This Mediterranean cuisine place is a low key, extravaganza place. The food is so fresh, nice portion and you can seat in the busy side or the quiet corner.

A Gem in the city - not to be missed 10/10 would definitely come again.

Best Mediterranean food in town, awesome tastes and great garden for lunch on summer. Highly recommend even if it is far from downtown !

Had a lovely dinner at Shock in Dublin with friends. The Mediterranean food was fresh and full of flavor, especially the hummus and the platter with different dips and warm pita bread. Great presentation and a really nice vibe. Perfect spot to hang out and enjoy good food. Highly recommend!

Delicious food and great atmosphere

Good Middle Eastern fare with large portion sizes. Food arrived quickly and service was pleasant. Prices are reasonable for what’s on offer. We walked in to a relatively empty space that filled up rather quickly. The atmosphere is a bit cavernous but that doesn’t detract significantly. Depending on your location, this is more a locals place or a bit of a walk/bus from the Centre.

Best one in Dublin. Food is quite good and atmosphere is amazing. Pre-booking only accepted.
