Great food, very helpful and friendly staff. Highly recommend

The atmosphere was great, and the staff was quick to offer advice. Unfortunately, there were huge lines, and the wait was 50 minutes for a small kebab.

Shouk is a hidden gem in the city, offering a variety of delicious and authentic dishes from the Middle East. The restaurant is cozy and nicely decorated, with a warm and inviting atmosphere. The staff is friendly and attentive, and the service is fast and efficient. We ordered the mezze platter, which came with hummus, baba ganoush, falafel, tabbouleh, and pita bread. The portions were generous and the flavors were amazing. The hummus was creamy and smooth, the baba ganoush was smoky and tangy, the falafel was crispy and moist, the tabbouleh was fresh and zesty, and the pita bread was soft and fluffy. It was a great way to sample different dishes and share with our friends. We also tried the chicken skewer and the shawarma, which were both excellent. The chicken skewer was tender and juicy, marinated in spices and grilled to perfection. The shawarma was succulent and flavorful, wrapped in a thin bread with lettuce, tomatoes, onions, and tahini sauce. Both dishes were served with rice and salad, which complemented them well. The restaurant also had a huge selection of drinks, from soft drinks and juices to beers and wines. We opted for the mint lemonade, which was refreshing and sweet, and the Turkish coffee, which was strong and aromatic. The only downside of Shouk is that it is not easy to spot from the road, and the area might not be very safe at night. But Shouk is a must-try for anyone who loves middle eastern cuisine or wants to try something new and exciting

I love the Chicken Skewers and the Baba Ghanoush with pita bread, such great flavours all around. It's the best Middle Eastern restaurant in Dublin!
