This is probably the best restaurant I’ve been to in a while. If you like authentic Middle Eastern food, this is the place to come. The flavours are amazing, the portions are huge, the prices are great, and the ambience is friendly, lively, and comfortable. We ordered way too much food for two people and did not regret it for one second. Literally could not stop eating. Will most definitely be back!

Close to Drumcondra's train station. Hidden entrance, beautiful menu, presentations and service. Advisable to book in advance via whatsapp is very comfortable. Order the small mezza as an appetizer. The food was more beautiful than of good quality though. Hygiene was questionable. Tables were sticky, seats had crumbles on arrival, we found hairs in our food on two different occasions. The pita and the shrimps should have been served with extra plates and 🍴 as proved to be quite messy plates. A place with potential but that needs attention.

What a gem !!! Relaxed atmosphere with a great music. Flavours were off the charts and everything was so fresh. Staff was amazing and so helpful. They were checking on us regularly irrespective of the rush. Definitely to be visited and again n again!!
We ordered :
1. Mezze platter - Came with very tasty options of dips and salads with very freshly made pita. Never had such a soft pita before. The falafel was next level.
2. Chicken skewers - Another must try dish.
3. Hummus chicken shwarama - What a dish. Very light hummus topped with chicken shawarma came with pita bread with side of olives and pickles.
4. Chicken shawarma in a pita - came as shawarma roll. Again another exceptional dis. But portion size can be improved.
5. Knafeh - Best knafeh in Dublin. It was made fresh. They took 15 mins to make it but did inform us that this order takes time when we placed the order. But definitely worth all the wait. Not tooo sweet not too buttery. Perfect balance of flavours

No doubt this little hidden gem serves the best Falafel in Ireland! This is Middle eastern food at its best, Arab and Mediterranean cuisines meet here into a feast of fabulous salads, bursting with flavors and aromas.
I took the mezze platter and it was just perfect! I was only sorry that the Tahini and Baba Ganush portions were a little bit small for the amount mathematically needed to tend to the lovely fluffy pittas and the green, crispy Falafels. This meal was a great joy and I will be back again and again, to try all the items on the menu. This is healthy, happy food, (mostly vegan, by the way), served in a lovely atmosphere and a very friendly service. My only regret is that this place isn't across the street from my home

Bien hecho a Shouk.
