Siam Thai in Dublin

Was delighted this restaurant accommodated us for a 9:20 seating when their kitchen closes at 9:30. I've been coming here for years as it's a reliable and convenient place in Dundrum. Ordered the Duck Panang and brown rice. Was really a large portion but probably a little Spicer than normal. We really couldn't finish our portions so we took them to go, added a can of coconut milk the next day and it was the perfrct lunch and even nicer.

As a repeat customer, I enjoyed both the delicious food and the excellent service. A booking is essential, and recommended. The food is great value for money and of delicious quality.

Delicious food and great place in general, I wish tables would be a bit bigger. Definitely recommend if you like thai food.

Siam Thai Restaurant serve authentic thai food. Their tom yum gung(Tom yum with prawn) had the exact flavor of the tom yom gung I had at the street markets of Pattaya thailand. The ambience of restaurant is very comfortable as well. Also the staffs were very attentive of the needs of their customers.

Delicious food and lovely staff. Nice varied menu to pick from for both adults and children.

Really enjoyed masaman curry. The Singapore noodles with duck were also tasty. Plenty of space for bringing kids. Nappy changing facilities in the bathroom.

Food was ok.nothing overwhelming. The restaurant itself could do with a deep clean. Steps to toilets very grubby and sticky. Decor is dark and depressing. Food arrived within 5 minutes to the table. This would suggest a lot of the stuff is made in advance and just heated up in a wok. Service from the waitress was good.

Decent enough food but it almost felt like fast food service. We ordered and 5 mins later the food was at the table, before our drinks had arrived, and about 40 seconds after the prawn crackers. I don’t see how it can be freshly prepared when served so quickly. Thankfully it was still nice enough and the desert took a little longer so overall it didn’t feel too rushed.

The food isn’t bad. In fact the duck pancakes were very good. But the premises and furniture are pretty shabby and not well signposted. €100 for two course dinner for two including a beer and a tip just feels like it could have been better spent elsewhere.

Food's freshly made, staff are very accomodating and pro's. One of my to-go's in Dundrum.
