Very simple cafe, no frills just simple sandwiches and coffee. Very loud place. I liked my sandwich until about halfway through when I found a long, dark hair in it.

A long time favourite. The cinnamon buns to go, as the family love them. For me, an espresso. Upstairs for chat & people watching. Downstairs for chat or hiding.

Quite a small café (I didn't see the part downstairs), cozy atmosphere. The service was quick. I had an amazing avocado sandwich here, for which I paid 6,80 euro's. It was quite a big sandwich, nothing was lacking. Relatively cheap too, as other places had sandwiches from 12+ euro's. Somehow the sandwhich hit different, as it had mayo, lettuce and tomato on it too. I really enjoyed the sandwich! Even though I am not always a big fan of avocado, I was craving some vegetables and the sandwhich hit a sweet spot.

We had a brunch here, a tuna & a chicken sandwich. The taste was good, they were freshly made. The coffee was so cute in a transparent glass. The juice, though, isn't bottled. Also, pay attention when you get your card ready. There is a contacless machine on the counter for tips only, I paid twice without realising it 😅

03/04/2024: We had the pleasure of trying La Gordita, and I have to say that the food and the service were top-notch. I didn't want to sit in the bar area because of my pregnancy and because it usually is not that fun. The team assured me that it was going to be comfortable. I have to say that the barman took care of us (even though I was not drinking) and engaged with us, adding to make our visit a memorable one. We really enjoyed sitting at the bar. The whole team was extremely helpful with recommendations. It was one of my favorite experiences since we arrived in Dublin. The owner, Vanessa, also passed by to say hi and check on us, which we loved.

20/02/2024: We were so pleased to try several bakery items which were absolutely delicious. Overall feeling like we've traveled to Finland or Sweden for some favorite cardamon bun. The vanilla rhubarb brioche is one of a kind. Highly recommend the bakery place, just 12 minutes from Dublin by the green line train.
10/02/2024: Love this little bakery in Phibsborough. And my favourite shop to buy basque cheesecake✨(coz it's the best cheesecake I've ever tasted!) Coffee is decent and the pastries (some are savoury) are good. You can also get various types of bread here.
