It was our first time at six by nico and it didn't disappoint. The food was very flavorsome and the cocktails were delicious. But what stood out for me was the waiting staff particularly Douglas. Very friendly and helpful, we never had to wait for a plate or drink and the menu was explained to us perfectly. I'd imagine it's a big task coordinating that many courses along with drinks so I appulad all the chefs and staff for a job well done.

Six by Nico is my favourite restaurant! My husband and I have been here many times now. Visiting for Christmas Eve was just amazing, it really made the day special. I couldn’t have enjoyed it more. The food and drink was spectacular, so many amazing flavours, and the storytelling associated with each dish was everything and really made the experience immersive and filled with wonder. The service was also phenomenal. I love the Dublin team, they worked hard but were also so cheerful and added that extra spark to the whole event. They brought that Christmas cheer like such pros and even recognized my birthday, which was so special.
So worth the money too, such reasonable price for such a memorable and enjoyable experience.
I can’t wait to see the menus they come up with in 2026. We’ll be back for sure and I couldn’t recommend them more.

Yup I did it, I ate here again 🤭,think this was menu number 6 that i've tried, you could call it my guilty pleasure😉, I have even got my son hooked on the experience ...I can't get enough of the fab food, it is tasty and presented so beautifully.....Can't fault the staff either they were professional, attentive and Evan was very informative and on the ball, the restaurant was quite busy but we were served without delay, they knock it out of the park everytime....I Can't wait to try the next menu in November 🤤

Delayed review - We had the New York experience and it was delish🤤. The pics do not do it justice, as with all Six by Nico menus you need to experience the food for yourself to believe how good it is.U think this is our 6th of 7th menu i've lost count 😂....From the moment you enter the Restaurant it amazes you, the service is impeccable,the staff are very informative and you are made feel extremely welcome. The flavours on each plate compliment each other and work so well together,they really know how to make food so enjoyable as well as filling ( don't be fooled by the little plates )....each dish is a different experience and none disappoint, pair them up with a fancy cocktail or a fab wine and get the whole experience. I promise you that once you have tried it once you will want to go back again for more

Thank you for being so accommodating when we were late and over-stayed. The staff were knowledgable and friendly and the food was excellent. Look forward to coming back very soon, and trying the cocktail and wine pairing as they looked fantastic.

Update, December 2025.
Things have improved! A lot!
We had the Nutcracker tasting today.
It was outstanding!
Food was even better, lights dimmer, ambient was quieter (it was still full house, good).
And today me and they wifey, we were both impressed.
Se service still 5 starts, food so close to be five starts, so close, still solid four for now.
Atmosphere will be upgraded from 2 to 4 stars.
Though we spent a lot more money this time somehow.

It's alright, I went there for the Italian Road Trip, which was decent.
Would give food 3.74 out of 5, so 4 stars it is I guess.
When I rate anything over 3 it means quite good. It just didn't surprise me.
Apart from the pulled meat, that one was nice and flavourful.

Visited Six by Nico for a second time recently, this time for the Nutcracker 10-course tasting menu. Overall, it’s a nice experience and a good option if you’re looking for an affordable tasting menu.
That said, this was likely my last visit. While the dishes were well presented and enjoyable, nothing particularly memorable stood out for me on either visit.
On this occasion, I visited with a coeliac friend, and it was disappointing to see how some dishes were adapted. In several cases, the gluten element (such as a cracker or crumb) was simply omitted rather than replaced. Removing these components can really change the balance and overall experience of a dish.
Even offering a simple shop-bought gluten-free cracker as an alternative would make a big difference and show more consideration for coeliac diners. It felt like a missed opportunity in an otherwise thoughtful concept.
