Six by Nico Dublin in Dublin

I’ve been here twice, and overall, it’s just… okay. The advertising makes the experience look far more exciting than it actually is. Maybe our expectations were too high, but the waiter more or less repeated what was already written on the menu, with little interaction or added value. The food itself was fine, but nothing memorable. The names of the dishes sound creative and make you think “wow, I really want to try that,” but once you do, the result feels pretty mediocre. For example the bio pack dish looked quite different from how it is presented on the website. You are expecting something more substantial than a couple of crisps or grated raw carrots. There’s nothing particularly wrong with the place or the service, but nothing that stands out either. For context: this year we tried the Space 6-course menu, and last year it was the Chipper theme menu. Both were decent in concept, but underwhelming in execution.

Karolina the waitress did a very impressive job describing the Apollo 11 menu and the food during my meal there! She and the other waiters and waitresses were all very attentive and friendly to myself and the other customers during my meal experience there.

had a wonderfully unique dining experience at six by nico featuring their apollo 11 menu with 11 delicious courses! each dish was specially themed but the most memorable in my opinion were the smoked beef and apple oysters, the nduja arancini, the lemon risotto with squid and ox ragu with potato. the servers were knowledgeable and very friendly – creating a friendly environment!

Visited six by Nico Dublin after being recommended it by a fellow foodie and it was as a gift to my partner who is also very into Space. First time trying this kind of tasting menu experience and we found it really wonderful, I’m glad we got to try it and are possibly addicted to checking out future menus. We were made feel very welcome by our waiter Dani as well as the others throughout the whole dinner which helped us ease into this new experience. Food was delicious, every dish hit the spot perfectly and we also loved the recommended cocktails. No pictures to not spoil the surprise of the new tasting menu ☺️

I have been there twice, two different menu's, different food, differen flavours but service was very good on both occasions. Out waiter was very helpful. On the second occasion we celebrated anniversary and got glass of bubbles from Restaurant Team and a card with wishes it was so nice. Portions are small but we were on 6 course menu and on the second visit ordered starters so we were full at the end. Definitely give a try. Been there for a third time and I had voucher in the mail says Six by Nico Dublin bookings will have a €30 discount applied to bookings made through website i was charged full price and when I tried to explain later they ignored me this is why staff got one star.

We went for the 10-course Space tasting menu. What a treat! Every dish was excellent, and the matching wines were brilliantly paired. I wasn't sure if the portions would be tiny, as I've experienced in other places offering tasting menus, but these were spot on. Some were small, but were meant to be as they had been created as a 'one-biters', such as the oyster course; most were a decent serving though. Overall, we were stuffed and struggling towards the end - we made it though! Can't wait to revisit.
