Always a really positive experience with delicious tasting menu and yummy cocktails

I was a bit disappointed with my experience. Even though I emailed in advance about our gluten intolerance, it seemed no one was aware of it when we arrived. There was a cloakroom, but we weren't asked for our coats, so we ended up stacking them on our chairs, which was inconvenient. The overall experience could have been much better. Selling an experience involves more than just affordable food; it includes attentive service, which unfortunately wasn't up to par. Although one waiter introduced himself as the main server for the night, various other waitstaff brought our food, which was confusing and made the service feel impersonal. The gluten-free options also fell short. The "bao" was overcooked, making it hard and chewy, which was disappointing for a place that markets itself on quality. It’s fine for a night out, but I don't think I'll be back. Sorry!

Lovely service and a fantastic themed 6 course menus with wine pairing option! Evan who looked after us for our late lunch at 3 pm was friendly and attentive. The food was delicious and had an interesting display. My favourite dish was the first course of squid ink rice ball! Very tasty and got a great texture! My favourite plate display is the Scream with blood splashing around the meat. The wine pairing was nice but doesn't actually match the name of the wine show on the online menu and one of the wines didn't really fit the dish. The 4th course of the vegetarian menu with mushrooms, my husband's plate was dirty and had food strain leftover compared to my clean plate with fish. Our table was right in front of the kitchen door entrance and bathroom hall so there was constant foot traffic of staff and other customers walking around our table.

Really enjoyed our meal, lovely staff Suzie was so nice ans friendly. Food was very good. Toilets clean. Very enjoyable experience

I love this place, my second home. Been going here for just over 2 years and have tasted almost every themed menu and always an amazing experience. See you next week!

I would give 4.7 out of 5. Overall: Fairly high CP with 6 delicate courses in 45 EUR Adv: - Food are mostly great, some cuisine on that day are astonishing. The sauce and dessert are excellent. - Service is also good, with explanation about the dish - Appreciate to have vegetarian option menu which mimics regular one Disadv: - Quite noisy if you expect this to be fine dining (which is fair in relation to its price) - Food portion is not huge. You may not be full even after 6 courses - It was out of my expectation that the menu became Sunday Roast instead of their one shown in the webpage. Although I was asked to click "Sunday roast" during reservation, the cuisine are not available in web

Six by Nico is definitely a culinary experience to not miss in Dublin. The creativity of the chefs is incredible. We had the Turkish experience and it was gorgeous. Since the first plate you are exposed to many flavours, some new, that makes it really interesting. Tha only down is the selection of wines. While thre were incredible and perfect match for pairing with their plats, I thought two weren't at that level and left a bad impression, specially the chosen from Valencia, Spain. Very average taste, body and pairing with the plate. Cocktail selection is brilliant. Amaretto Sour the best cocktail I have tried in a while, where the margarita was just too much of a tequila taste, not getting any other zing in each sip. Other than that, staff is very good, they know their menu and wines in a and out, and they were very attentive. An expensive but worthy experience if you like trying new things 😁

I have been to Six by Nico many times and every occasion has been fantastic. The food is always delicious and interesting, and because they change their menu every 6 weeks, you can keep going back for a new tasting menu! They also offer so many great specials like the 10-course tasting, Sunday Roast special (which I did most recently) and a nice wine pairing option with dinner. I am a huge fan of Six by Nico and one of the main reasons is because it offers a high-end meal out at a very reasonable price. Most recently I went there for my anniversary and they made it special - the staff and service are always amazing!

Amazing food and drinks as always here. Great service. Every new menu always very different! Good cocktails too
