Excellent Classic 5 Stars Enough Said

Great service and delicious food.

Great fish&chips, great beer, nice and accommodating waiters, good atmosphere.

We spent three days in Dublin and had four of our lunches/dinners here. It has everything you could ask for in a pub: good service, more than decent food for sharing with a group (the nachos are plentiful with juicy cheese and tasty meat; the chicken goujons are very tender), and most importantly in Dublin: perfectly poured Guinness at a fair price, without the rip-offs in the Temple area. They also have live folk music at certain times. You can feel the local atmosphere and that it's frequented by real locals, not tourists, for a drink. The waitresses are attentive and helpful. Highly recommended.

Good place for a quick pint and lunch

Great pub with fantastic service. Delicious roast beef with amazing gravy. The staff especially recommended ordering one portion for two people. It was indeed more than enough. And super delicious. Highly recommended! We were there on a Saturday.

Great service and excellent food choices

Great breakfast spot, visited after seeing Bourdain recommend it in Layover way back in 2006 and it is still a must-try. One of the few early houses remaining meaning you can wash down your bacon and black pudding with a well needed beverage. Staff were friendly and accommodating.

Great atmosphere with live music.

I managed to make it to Slattery's for Christmas Eve dinner. The waitstaff was very friendly, and the food was great. What to get: lamb stew, garlic bread, and Smithwick's draught. You can skip the bread that comes with the stew. If you can get seated in the corner like I did, you'll get a nice view of the bar as well as the wonderful artwork on the corner ceiling. Enjoy!
