Beautiful hotel in the countryside. Room was spacious and spotlessly clean.
Food in the bar was gorgeous and fab breakfast. Friendly efficient staff. Very well kept hotel. It is a credit to the people who run it

Went for dinner on Mothers Day and it was so so busy. It took a while for our food to come but that was completely understandable, the staff were completely flat out. We received our food from young waitresses who were still smiling despite being under a lot of pressure. Everyone in our group said the food was very good, hot and very tasty, and the portions were massive. I will definitely go back another time when it's not so busy but I would definitely recommend the Sliabh Beagh Hotel for dinner and a drink or two.
Sunday afternoon Carvery worth queuing for. A heaped plate of very tasty fresh food. Smithwicks seemed watered down or mixed with another beer, poor. Good service, friendly helpful staff.

Food is excellent and the cheesecake was TO DIE FOR. Me and my family have been talking about the food since. Top notch and reasonable. Great service and so good to be home and eating in the Sliabh Beagh. There's a wee play park across the road which was perfect when my three year old had a meltdown!! ☺️☺️
Had a family dinner in the Sliabh beagh after a few recommendations about the quality of the food. Have to say we weren't disappointed. The chef needs to take a bow because every dish that was ordered was absolutely beautiful. Great quality food, amazing taste and very generous portions. The desserts were also out of this world. Will 100% be going back and recommending to people to go and visit.
A group of us came up to Monaghan for a soccer match and stayed at the Sliabh Beagh hotel. From the minute we walked in there was a friendly atmosphere and welcome. Food was good and the rooms were comfortable.
The owner was very accommodating and looked after us very well. Highly recommend the hotel to anyone heading to Monaghan
