Our breakfasts were tasty. I went for the Morning power, which wasn't that wow. My boyfriend's oyster mushroom toast looked gorgeous and he was satisfied with it. Here you won't get flat white, they only serve French press for coffee, though there are loads of tea options. They DO NOT have gluten free bread. Luckily I called them the previous day to reserve a table, and I brought my own gf bread with me. The place is super cute and also has tables outside.

The food here tasted amazing, it was better than most places with similar menus. The cheese on top of the toast made all the difference! I liked the French press coffee as well. It looks like they don't have a coffee machine, but that's totally fine. The cups added to the experience. They also have a good selection of teas and cakes, tried both and it was all very nice. One thing to note is there's no restroom at the restaurant, but you can use the one at the market. I was there on Saturday morning and got a table with no booking, but the place got busy pretty quickly. All in all very cozy and delicious! I like that it's kind of tucked in. I would love to come back here for lunch as well.

Had lunch. My husband had a lunch platter which consisted of a small bit of pate, some olives and one dates, a few bits of cheese and celeriac coleslaw and a slice of bread which was over sixteen euros mine was egg and avocado no taste at all and was 14.50. We were very disappointed With what we got and the price was ridiculous. Will not return.

Cute little brunch spot - small, yet thoughtful menu with fab and freshly baked cakes on display. Great for a cozy brunch on the weekend! Not great for coffee (only French press coffee on the menu), but fabulous tea selection.

Very cozy small restaurant, staff is very welcoming. Food is good, like a warm home cooked meal. We tried the stew, very tasty. Deserts are very unique and a must try.

11/04/2025: Excellent food & excellent service. Everything was spot on, including the decor and music. Great choice of quality wines by the glass too. Early bird is great value, especially considering the quality and portion sizes.

Sisi @ Central Cafe

11/06/2025: While trying to get home this evening and finding the darts out of action yet again and given the choice of squeezing myself onto an already full bus at 5pm on a sunny evening or Walk to Lansdowne road I chose wisely, by the time I reached blackrock I was hungry after a long day in work and came across the oasis that was the central cafe, quiet and busy if that's possible, great menu, plenty of choices and very reasonable prices, I settled on the quarter pounder and chips and was not disappointed, plenty on the plate and lovely staff with a well timed smile 😁. Definitely will be coming back, thanks guys for making the reminder of a long walk possible
07/06/2025: Sisi is A Joy! Wonderful, Excellent Food, with A Huge Variety to choose, from. Their Mini, All-Day, Breakfast, is, Incredible, Value at 12 euro, for egg, sausage, bacon, beans, two slices of toast, and a fabulous cappuccino. Delightful, perfect, welcoming, attention and service, from The Family, who run Sisi. Sisi's position in Blackrock, is Brilliant, for "People-Watching", from, either, inside or at it's, pavement table. If, sitting, inside, there is, also, beautiful, background, music to enjoy, as you, dine.
