Sole Seafood & Grill in Dublin

We celebrated our 4th anniversary here and had an unforgettable evening. The seafood was the freshest I’ve ever had in Dublin and every dish, hot and cold, was beautifully prepared. The oysters were a standout. Patrik, our waiter, was attentive and quick, which made the service flawless. The restaurant is super chic, so smart casual attire (shirt and dress recommended) fits the atmosphere perfectly. Highly recommended for a special occasion.

Came here for the early evening before 6pm menu. Without any doubt this is the best value for money when it comes to good food in Dublin. The scallops were plump and perfectly caramelized. Monk fish and sole were delicious. The portions of the chocolate mousse were little on the large side at the end of a filling dinner. Lime tart was authentic. I ordered a side portion of beans but there was plenty of veg in the main dish. Highly recommend trying the oysters if you are into shellfish.

Went for seafood dinner to celebrate anniversary. Early bird. Scallops OK but accompanying smoked black pudding? Mine was cold. Seabass? Unremarkable as were "purple potatoes". Waitress had accident with dropped tray and injured my husband's leg. He is 74. A bag of ice would have improved the situation. No rush back.

Service and staff were exceptional. Food was superb. Chowder was the best in all of Ireland and the Hake was uniquely prepared for best taste ever. Great wine collection and drink options.

Yummy and fresh seafood with nice atmosphere and great service! Their wine is comprehensive with bottles to pair nicely with different dishes. Their small outdoor seating is also quite nice.
