First time eating here and it has solidified a very good impression on me, Food was great, Place was clean, staff were nice and it didn't take all that long for the food to arrive, only 10 mins for our non veg and veg Thali and our dosa and only 2 mins for our beer more, which was good, but a bit hard to drink from the straw. The non-veg Thali was €20 and the taste was decent, Spicy enough to hit but not so spicy that you would have to guzzle down water. Portion wasn't big, only a small bowl. The veg Thali was €18 and was also good, and unlike other restaurants, this fine establishment didn't just replace the meat with paneer, it actually had different dishes, only the Dal and Shira were common between them. The masala dosa was alright, nothing really special about it, very simple, still good. Price was worth, bathrooms clean, good food, nice atmosphere and not loud. This gets my 5 stars

I have been here multiple times and Bendakai Vepudu and Lemon Rice are my favorite. Podi Idli is also a great dish they serve. I liked a few more dishes like Kerala Crispy Prawn, Ghee Podi Dosa, Thattu Idli, Malabar Paratha, Filter Coffee. Their service is also good. Ahmed, who served us, was very calm and checked on us if everything was alright. They can improve on chicken main dishes like Kothamalli Chicken, Pallipalayam Chicken. The vada inside Dahi Balla was hard both times I ate it.

South Spice is hands down one of the best Indian food spots in Dublin I’ve tried! If you haven’t had their iddiyapam yet, you’re missing out, it’s absolutely divine with just sugar. Simple, nostalgic, and perfectly made! Feel like at my home country. Their thali is generous and full of flavor, offering a real taste of South Indian home-cooked meals. I also loved the mango lassi thick, creamy, and refreshing. And don’t leave without trying their masala tea, it’s the real deal, beautifully spiced and comforting. The staff are friendly, the service is quick, and the atmosphere is warm and welcoming. Highly recommended whether you’re new to Indian food or a long-time fan. I’ll definitely be back!
