Spencer Hotel in Dublin

I checked in on 4th of April, I was greeted with by far one of the most energetic and enthusiastic members of staff at the front desk. He was more than accommodating and went above and beyond to ensure I was happy with everything. Front desk staff, Filip Zic. Absolutely outstanding.

Hard to find car park that is expensive. The staff are helpful and friendly. Rooms are good but the shower handle came off in my hand when trying to turn it off

Not an issue necessarily but it’s quite a walk from central, so fine for a quieter stay. The shower was not very powerful at all, which was also a pain. The breakfast is ok. Annoying that you have to wait for someone to take your coffee order. When it’s busy this means you often won’t get a coffee till you’ve nearly finished breakfast. The coffee is filter coffee only. Staff friendly and polite. A lift was out of order when we stayed which meant walk or wait a fair while for a lift. Check out at midday is good, and checkout is nice and easy with express checkout meaning you don’t have to queue to leave. There are nearly always cabs waiting outside which was good.

Solid 4 stars across the board. The Spencer is a reliable hotel. I’ve stayed here multiple times. Depending on the room you get, you’ll have a different experience. But the hotel in general is nice, they have a gym with a pool downstairs. You need to book the pool in advance though. As the gym is open to members who are non-hotel guests.It’s far from the noice of central Dublin, but it has relatively good public transportation options. I use the hotel mainly for business trips.

2 very good night's sleep. Quiet, clean, well situated for tram and airport bus connections. lots of facilities I did not get to use. Excellent breakfast selection. Very quck service at the breakgfast table. Very friendly staff. Extra Plus goes out to Jose at the front desk. bed was very comfortable. good selection of TV channels from Ireland and the UK one tiny thing is that I felt the shower water pressure was a bit low - but that could be just a personal thing A good stay. No complaints

I use the swimming pool and sauna. Very happy with that service.

Rooms were a good size, nice Molton brown soaps and a good breakfast. Reception staff were very helpful and allowed an early check in/easy check out

They service tea American style with teabag on the side (boke)

Stayed two nights staff were lovely so efficient and friendly. Room was spotless very quiet,but disappointed at the size of it to small. 😕 Food in Malaysian restaurant was delicious comlpaments to the chef 👨‍🍳 Overall a lovely stay ,would recommend it.

Easily the best service I've had at any hotel ever. From the receptionists, the management, the waitstaff, everything. I wanted to swap rooms after my friend left to a smaller, cheaper one. They allowed me to stay in my current, more expensive room for the rate of the cheaper room. Not to mention, they have been very kind and helpful during my entire stay. Will definitely come back.
