Springfield castle in

Great week staying at The Springfield Castle! We rented out the entire castle and were able to really spread out and enjoy the castle and grounds on our own. Karen was quick to respond to questions and requests. Lots of fun day trips from this location.

Bride here! Last week my family stayed at Springfield and my husband and I were married in the tower on Thursday. It was absolutely incredible. The whole castle team helped the wedding day go so smoothly. “Castle Karen” as we called our wonderful host who helps keep the grounds and castle, helped throughout the week and the wedding and truly made our stay problem-free. And not to mention stayed in consistent and easy contact with us for the whole year leading up to the wedding all the way from Georgia, USA. For future brides scoping this venue- I cannot recommend it enough. Fairytale is the closest word to describe it, the beautiful photos you see don’t even do it justice. The castle catered our wedding meal and provided florals, both of which were amazing. We booked Springfield from the photos and reviews, and arriving felt like we surprised ourselves with the biggest gift. Seriously. If you’re considering Springfield for whatever event/family vacation, etc., DO IT!! Add ons: The hot tub, sauna, and cold plunge were favorites! The castle dogs prancing around the grounds were adorable. Along with the deer in the pastures! We also did clay pigeon shooting with Rosemount Shooting school on the castle grounds- they were so fun!!

Our stay at this castle was unforgettable. Castle Karen made us feel genuinely welcome, the food was amazing, and the atmosphere was so relaxing. Wandering the hallways and gardens felt surreal — like being wrapped in a piece of Ireland’s history. It was the perfect escape and one we’ll be talking about for years.

Had the pleasure of staying at Springfield Castle as part of my Erasmus internship. The time went by way too fast, We got to do some things in the forest from the castle as foresters. Jonathan and his family have made so many things possible, Springfield is very old, and yet lovingly restored and maintained. From the garden to the tower to the cafe and the forest, you can see the passion everyone invests.

Absolutely gorgeous castle. So much history to the place which made it so much better. My stay here was absolutely incredible. For the people online though the internet connection isnt all the best there but it didnt bother me at all

What a wonderful place! I just spent a whole week there with my yogi friends. The staff are very nice and did an excellent job keeping us happy. I enjoyed my mornings watching the deer. There are very lovable dogs there too! We were often gone on adventures and came back every night to a great meal. I love the cook! We were lucky enough to get a tour from the baron! I cant say enough nice things about this place. Great time!
