Steaming Cups is a small coffee shop nestled into the entrance of the train station, perfectly positioned for grabbing a coffee and a pastry on the way to work or university (DCU St Pat’s is only a 15 min walk!).
The coffee is simply delicious. The barista serves up a cappuccino with a well-proportioned dusting of chocolate, complimenting the flavour of the coffee, which isn’t entirely drowned out by milk as some places do.
The lady running the shop is incredibly nice, always greeting me with a smile. It’s an awful shame they haven’t the space for customers to sit down because the atmosphere in their little corner is lovely and welcoming.
