STREET 66 in Dublin

The sound system is not great. When you sit close enough to the dance floor, two different tunes mix and create a lot of inconveniences. Even if they have a huge space the seats are not great to accommodate the people there, it could’ve designed better since there are huge chairs and with huge tables . There is no crowd control on busy nights. People walk behind or front of you aggressively when trying to get a drink while you’re trying to dance. The staff could be a little bit more friendly. Good music and nice crowd.

Honestly very nice, the atmosphere is great and the cocktails are very good!! The music is good despite transitions that leave something to be desired.

Really pleasant queer venue. Nice beer, good staff, and I bet it’s much busier in the evening. It’s 6pm and just staying to liven up.

Had a great time. Went last Thursday. The bartender made my wife her favourite drink (whiskey smash) which they had never made before but kindly looked it up! she said it was the best whisky smash she has ever had. Later, after a few smashes (the bartender had finished her shift) another bartender made the best whisky sour. Everyone was so friendly and welcoming. This is going to be a regular visit for us in the future!

I'm in there every other weekend. Amazing spot, its reasonably priced with friendly staff.

Surprised by the negative reviews. Dublin institution at this stage. Been a late/ gay bar for decades now. Always a solid night out. More of a gay pub in many ways, especially off-peak. Usually good/fun music and service is generally quick and I can't remember it not being friendly. Bit pricey but so is everywhere else in Dublin these days. Negative would be the gents. Very hard to get to it on a busy night as it's in the very back corner of the bar.

From the friendly staff to the eclectic playlist, Street 66 exudes a sense of community and acceptance. Happy to say this is a haven for self-expression, making it my favorite spot to grab a pint in downtown Dublin.
