SuperValu is a great asset to the locality. It's pretty much your one-stop shop where you can get the most diverse items. Unfortunately on my last visit (March 2024) I found that there were a lot of items in the vegetable section and elsewhere that had no price attached.

Great place, plenty of grocery options at very reasonable prices. They also stock the Glasnevin Irish Whiskey, one of the newest great whiskeys in ireland!

Great place for grocery at walking distance from my house! Absolutely love their bakery stuff. Oh yes and the hot chicken roll for lunch sometimes! Made my work-from-home even better! Self-checkouts are really useful and there is always a friendly staff-member there to help you.

04/04/2024: An unforgettable dinner cruise! We had an unforgettable birthday party experience from start to finish. We sailed through the Grand Canal and watched the crew manually open the locks. The food was delicious and the service went above and beyond. We would like to thank Beatriz and Nicole for their exceptional service, friendliness, and positive attitude. Gorgeous experience!!!
25/03/2024: Nicole and the team on the canal boat restaurant were absolutely fantastic! We had such a fun time for my sister's hen party. The staff went above and beyond, created the perfect atmosphere for everyone and made us feel like VIPs! Loved it!

Sandycove Store & Yard

02/04/2024: Quirky cafe with flower shop and sauna on site too! Dog friendly. Unfortunately toasties only average and limited menu. Great selection of cakes which are delicious. Good coffee.
12/03/2024: Never had the food here but I go to the sauna here weekly. Usually used by swimmers so usually a nice chat available. Very nicely set up.
