I was really excited to try this place as Persian food is a flavour profile I genuinely enjoy. Unfortunately, the day we visited they were nearly sold out of a lot of dishes, so I didn’t get to try what I’d originally come for. What we did have was nice, though I do feel it could have been better – possibly just an off day. The chips were the weakest part for me; they tasted like low-quality or oven chips and didn’t really do the rest of the food justice. Service was good, if a little slow, but given how close it was to Christmas I’ll let that slide. Overall, I’d still recommend giving it a try and I’d happily go back to properly experience the dishes we missed the first time around

Hmmmm, Evening folks....Well I try not to review in a negative way. 6.45pm and the spits were off. I ordered a mixed kebab, chicken and lamb and a friend ordered a small lamb kebab. I ate out of pure hunger. I've met the owners from Zaytoon in town and also out in Zaytoon Sandyford. Thoroughly enjoyed multiple times. But tonight, very disappointed in Swords. Jamshid and Azhad, please do something (Owners) The chicken was hardly chewable. The lamb was slightly dry but not the worst. The chef and front of house agreed....I thought why serve it? I'm sure it's a great place, although my friend and I were the only ones for most of it, the place was empty. I'll be honest and ate the food out of hunger. Keep the spit roasts on and stop reheating. My friend is also a well renowned chef and cause the complaint on my behalf. I still love Zaytoon as in town and Sandyford, it's always fresh, tasty, atmosphere is to die for. Great for families and large parties. Was also charged incorrectly for my friends z bite dish, but got reimbursed. Maybe just a bad one off experience. See the chicken attached. Again chef and front of house service apologised. Offered me another dish and an apology....but didn't want to experience it again.

I loved that place. Genuine Persian food. I noticed the quality of the meat, amongst other things. Very friendly and quick service. I found the music being to loud, and they lowered the volume as soon as I asked them, without any hassle. I'm too old, what can I say... -) I keep going back there.

The food at Zaytoon is just okay. It’s not the best option around, but it’s acceptable if most other restaurants are closed and you need something to eat. Overall, a decent fallback choice.

Copper Face Jacks

01/05/2026: Ah Coppers what can I say about it, have u ever visited a place which feels more like home than your actual home. The entire experience feels like a warm hug after a hard days work in the coleslaw mines. The people were welcoming and friendly and two girls even asked myself and my colleague if we had any fast gas, I’m not sure what this is but I can only assume it’s some sort of coleslaw. The place had a lovely smell of bathroom bought cologne and gaa lads farts. The floor was exceptionally clean as the staff were practicing curling for the next Winter Olympics by constantly mopping the floor. Overall myself and my fellow colleagues had a lovely time and thankfully were able to leave at a reasonable hour as we had to check out of our hotel 14 hours later. -Brendan (arch bishop of banterbury and captain of shifting)
27/04/2026: A nightclub! A standalone in the Dublin nightlife, you wouldn't see the likes anywhere else. I recommend a visit if you're visiting the city, and it offers much fun (see proposing picture attached). 10 euro entry fee but it is worth it - loads of space, but always busy with new faces so is quite energetic and fierce.
