We couldn’t be happier that we chose Tankardstown House as our wedding venue. From start to finish, they were absolutely incredible and made the entire experience so smooth and stress-free. In the lead-up to the day, the team were always there to help with any questions and made the planning process feel easy. A special shoutout to Eimear, who was so patient, responsive, and helpful throughout — nothing was ever too much trouble, and she made sure every detail was perfectly in place. On the day itself, everything ran like clockwork thanks to Fran and Des. They took such great care of us and ensured every part of the day flowed seamlessly. It allowed us to fully relax and enjoy every moment, knowing we were in such capable hands. All of the staff were true professionals — warm, attentive, and incredibly organised. The level of care and attention we received before, during, and after the wedding was outstanding. Tankardstown House truly went above and beyond, and we are so grateful for everything they did to make our day so special. We are so glad we chose them as our venue and couldn’t recommend them highly enough.

This is an underestinated wedding venue. One of the most amazing places I have went to in ireland for a wedding.

We got married at Tankardstown House in March 2025 and what can we say, it was a dream from beginning to end. The setting is breathtaking, the food is outstanding, and the staff went above and beyond to make everything perfect (shoutout to Fran). From the moment we arrived, we felt so well looked after, nothing was ever too much trouble. The team made the entire planning process feel effortless, and on the day itself, everything ran like clockwork. It truly felt like a fairytale, and we couldn’t imagine having our wedding anywhere else. Our guests raved about the beautiful on site accommodation as well!

Wonderful meal at Brabazon Restaurant in lovely settings with log fire burning. We went for the a la carte; I had the halibut and my companion the pork which were perfect. We both had the blackberry souffle which was superb and in itself worth travelling for. Wines and service were excellent. Thank you.

I am so thrilled to be writing this review for Tankardstown House. As an American bride, much of the wedding planning process was done from afar, and nearly everything was a sight unseen kind of deal. Before our big day, we had never step foot on the property and our wedding planner, Annie Byrne, was kind enough to step in a do a tasting with Tankardstown on our behalf. Needless to say, I was a little nervous not knowing what to expect when we showed up for our big day, but any expectations I had were blown clean out of the water when we arrived. Stepping onto the grounds of Tankardstown House truly feels like stepping into a fairytale. Everyone could not stop raving about the grounds, the venue, the accommodations, the staff, the list goes on and on. Leading up to the big day, the wedding planning staff (shout out to Gemma) was so warm and communicative and willing to go above and beyond. Their efforts on our wedding day were no less impressive. From start to finish, we truly had a perfect wedding and it was due, in large part, to the staff at Tankardstown. The food was incredible, the wait staff were lovely and attentive, and everyone made us and our guests feel so special. I truly could go on and on in this review, but I’ll just say that if you get a chance to have your wedding here, you will not regret it. Thank you again to everyone who helped make our day so special, we will certainly be back for a visit as soon as we can!!
