If you are ever wondering if perfection is possible, Tankardstown House answers with a resounding yes. Every single detail — from the house itself to the food, location, drinks, and accommodations — is magic. But it's the staff that make every experience here unforgettable.
We were so blessed to have our wedding here in July, and it made every last one of our dreams come true. All of our guests raved about our time there, and the service was at the center of every great experience.
We can't thank Fran, Tommy, Abby, Aine, Gemma, and the countless other restaurant, house, and housekeeping staff enough. They aren't just excellent at their jobs — they are kind, genuine, professional, and made us feel incredibly special.
Tankardstown House is an absolute gem, and we can't wait to pay them a visit again (hopefully very soon!)

Tankardstown House is heaven on earth! We held our July 2025 wedding here with 50 of our closest friends and family. Being from the US, we originally thought planning a destination wedding would be difficult but the staff at Tankardstown made everything so perfectly easy. Gemma, Aine, Sarah-Jane, Fran, Abby, Tommy, the entire staff made sure the day ran smoothly (even answering my many emails leading up to the day). Even a little pre-ceremony rain shower couldn't damper our day at Tankardstown. Our guests are still raving about the service, the food, the accommodations and overall about how lovely it was to have the pleasure of staying at Tankardstown House. My only negative is I wish we could have stayed longer. I hope to be back soon to experience the magic again. Thank you everyone!

Had the pleasure of shooting Matthew & Eimear’s wedding here, I shoot here quite often and still get blown away by the venue , gardens and staff here. Always a pleasure to return.

Absolutely Wonderful Experience!
Attended a wedding as part of the bridal party, and my husband and I stayed in the house. The room was fantastic! The Tankardstown staff were just brilliant—there wasn’t enough they wouldn’t do for us, especially Fran, who went above and beyond. The food was phenomenal. All in all, it was a truly wonderful experience, and I would highly recommend it!
