The Academy, Middle Abbey Street in Dublin

Fairly small venue but two great bars, very expensive though! Clean bathrooms, smoking area, cloakroom. Good for intimate gigs

Basically like Rock City/Rescue Rooms! Cute little venue, drinks are spenny but they are everywhere these days. small capacity though! bbno$ was so worth it.

Great staff and vibes, the best spot in Dublin for seeing djs, and an amazing soundsystem to boot.

Great experience watching The Cureheads. Top venue.

Amazing venue for a gig intimate like the Olympia

Very friendly and attentive staff - maybe it's because I'm from the US, but I've never seen dedicated staff members roaming around the crowds to wipe up spilled drinks or pick up empty cups. The only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is because as a shorter person (5'2"), I couldn't see the stage, only other heads, even though I was in a raised area on the side. There were rather obnoxious lights pointed straight at us too which didn't help with visibility. Thankfully I was there for the music instead of visuals so my experience wasn't ruined and it wouldn't stop me from going there again.
