The restaurant have a delicious food, is my favorite fries in Dublin, so I recommend order “Wings and fries” (the sauce on the fries is perfect) with some cocktails, is very fresh and you will pay only 17 euros in two good drinks. The place is very comfortable and the service is very good, all time the staff ask if is ok or need something else and the price is honest. So, I recommend go with your family watch a match or for listening a good music.

Went there spontaneously for dinner on a Saturday evening: The menu had 5-6 dishes per section – the fish and chips menu was sold out! Spicy barbecued pork ribs with our own seasoning sauce, falling off the bone! Fine, mild slices of roast beef with mashed potatoes and carrot pieces, and three extra rosemary potatoes. The pub was packed with families. Attentive, fast service, and a special "glass grabber"!

As an American with Irish roots, I have a small amount of anxiety going into an Irish pub in Ireland. Well. You should not feel that way. The patrons just wanted to help us have the best vacation. Dean and Mark behind the bar are exquisite at their bar skills. Have them make your drinks! My irish papa would have loved the mashed potatoes with mushrooms and gravy! Perfection! It's so good it could feed the world and cause world peace! Go! Don't walk run!

Just wanna thank the balgriffin inn for having us for our mas anniversary the food and staff was amazing from time of booking on the phone from the time we were done would highly recommend the balgriffin inn for familys will done keep up the good work will be back soon thanks again

27/06/2025: I had a lovely early dinner at 8A Brasserie and it was such a well-spent evening. I ordered from the Early Dinner menu and went with the Bruschetta, Roasted Cauliflower and fries, paired with a refreshing cider. Everything was full of flavor and beautifully presented. For dessert, I enjoyed their homemade cheesecake with a regular tea — the perfect sweet ending. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, the service was excellent, and the company made it all the more special. Lots of laughter, great food, and a beautiful setting — I’ll definitely be back!

02/07/2025: Loving the vibe. Poor waitress - didn't understand me- I wanted a hard drink - she gave me a beer with minimum alcohol inside - she wanted to give me something with 0 % of alcohol inside, so I guess I got on 😊
28/06/2025: Really good service friendly accommodating staff food very good and nice outdoor seating area never knew about this place as I’m from the area highly recommend
