The Batch Loaf in Monaghan

Food just ok staff very busy and abrupt. They didn’t check on how our meal was after serving there was no one in charge to check service provided. It’s just about ok for a meal and nothing special

The! Best! Food! Ever!! The chicken supreme, is, … you guessed it… SUPREME! Great craic.

The Batch Loaf is fantastic for food! I booked my sister’s hen party meal here. They had no issue that it was a hen party or that it was for a large number of people. Food and service were lovely. They also personalised the menu to say my sister’s name and hen party. They gave us a plate and markers to sign for the bride-to-be as part of a hen party gift. It was a great gesture. Many thanks to The Batch Loaf!

Everything was impeccable from start to finish. The Korean fried chicken is a must if you like heat 😋 Desserts 💯👌🏼 We will definitely be back.

Can't say enough about the Batch Loaf. 5 stars all around. Food was excellent, service was exceptional a lovely friendly atmosphere. The decor was bright but egalantly tasteful. Highly recommend. We were having a 40th birthday meal. Thank you Batch Loaf. Well worth a visit.

Place with beautiful decor, intimate style. The food is well served and in good quantities. The staff is super attentive and concerned about the customer. Some people were talking very loudly, completely partying, which somewhat spoiled the atmosphere that the restaurant provided (which is why it was awarded one less star) but other than that it was impeccable. We were offered dessert due to a mistake with the main course but no big deal. We loved it and will go back.

This is the second time i have dined at The Batch Loaf. Again it did not disappoint. We dined at 6.30pm on a Saturday evening, and already this place was busy.(Pre booking a must at the weekends) A lively atmosphere, filled mostly with families at this time. A warm and engaging place to dine. Very friendly and helpful staff, willing to go through and explain the menu options. The staff are busy at all times, over 3 floors, so patience is expected, but they are very helpful and always have a smile. The menu had changed from we were there in May, which was good. Our party included a Vegetarian and a Pescetarian and there was enough choice for us all. Our choices included Hake, Duck and pasta, all cooked very well. We had 3 cources, with wine, and it was all very reasonable in price. A lively engergetic place to eat, good selection on the menu and great staff. Highly recommended.

In Monaghan for business and we booked a meal in the Batch Loaf. Very good menu and excellent food with excellent service. Definitely worth dining here if you’re in Monaghan
