Food was fabulous, couldnt fault anything we had, the batch loaf was just gorgeous only suggest would be to maybe add another dip with it Duck was definitely the star of the show though but the steak was very well cooked and all sides were exceptional, definitely visit again when I'd be back in monaghan

Great food, although menu changes are few. Well presented and tasted lovely. Staff are an asset, very friendly and helpful. Good value. Really enjoyed our evening.

The food was very average for what is positioned as a premium price point, and unfortunately the quality didn’t justify the cost. Service was also disappointing. Several tables were left uncleared for long periods, and after waiting 15 minutes for my order, I was told it was no longer available and had to choose something else. While it was the end of what I assume was a busy Sunday service, arriving later in the day shouldn’t mean receiving below-par service or sitting among messy tables. I’m sure the restaurant can be great, but on this occasion it didn’t encourage me to return. Paying €25 for shredded chicken or €26 for a Wagyu beef burger felt like premium pricing without the matching quality.
