A great range of taps, a lot from Galway Bay Brewery (which owns the place) but also some other craft and macro beers if that’s what you’re into. They do cocktails also. Big bar at the front and a quieter one in the back. Very friendly staff. You can build your own flights to taste a variety of stuff. Great location.

Had the most authentic Shepherd's Pie here that had the proper meat: lamb shoulder. I wish that American restaurants would do this properly. The baked crispy parmesan topping was icing on the cake. The Bitburger 0.0% alcohol on tap was a bonus. This is the first time I've had an alcohol free beer on tap. This is the only place that does this that I know of of all the different Nations I've visited in Europe.

Cozy place for a beer! We also wanted to eat here, but ordering took more than 20 minutes, so we decided to eat elsewhere. There was a girl serving who was visibly way too busy (serving all the tables by herself) but still did everything with a smile on her face and remained friendly.

We popped into this pub while wandering around the city. Since it was St. Stephen’s Day, not much was open. This is not a traditional Irish pub but a more Americanized version. However, you should definitely stop in for a pint from Galway Bay Brewery! Once inside, you seat yourself and order from the bar, which had an impressive tap list. Undecided? They offer a flight off four but opted for a full pour. We really enjoyed the Full Sail and Afterglow! We also ordered food at the bar, the classic fish and chips, and the smoky blue burger. The fish was average. While flaky, the batter fell off easily. The burger had an enjoyable, strong cheese flavor that complimented the beef well. We were surprised to see American-style bacon instead of traditional Irish rashers. Pro tip: add malt vinegar and salt to the fries/chips—you won’t be disappointed! There is a toilet for patrons, but you’ll need to walk downstairs and pass through the neighboring Oak pub to get to it.

Great beer selection (lots of Galway Bay Brewing craft beers on tap) and wonderful cocktails. The music playlist was top notch! Would go back for sure!

Old Country Grill

23/12/2024: Large portion of fish & chips, good value. Only thing was the batter wasn’t crispy enough, too doughy.
26/11/2024: Amazing value and fresh food and Victoria the owner helps my child pack her bag with the food as she can’t manage on her own due to disability. Really great pricing.
