Were there on a Sunday. Only one type of buffet is offered The meal was excellent!!! Really a little like home cooking and really a lot. I ate half of it and free material was provided for the other half to take the rest with me. All of this for really not much money. Price performance is not really appropriate because you get more than you pay!!

It's a great place to have dinner but for special occasions like a funeral, communion, confirmation etc, the food there is amazing and I hope to go there again.

I would give five stars for food and staff but I have noticed on many occasions the misuse of blue badge spaces. My dad is a blue badge holder and of the four spaces I have observed two are occupied by vehicles that should not be parked there. When there spaces are filled occupied it means I have to drive elsewhere.

27/05/2025: A cool place serving delicious pizza from the oven, friendly service - a great place, which is not easy to get to 😅 but it was worth it 👍😊 you can have a beer, cider or order a drink here, and apart from pizza there are other options...
26/05/2025: The place is amazing! We had a good night, the pizza was FABULOUS and the waitress Liege (Brazilian) was so kind. I ate an Italian pizza with pancetta and I drank 2 drinks I paid 45 euros for all of it. But my friend had pizza and they drank a pint of beer and they paid 25 euros.

The Portobello Bar

24/05/2025: Super friendly service. Customer requests are no problem. The food is beautifully presented and tastes simply delicious. The best omelet I've ever eaten.
19/05/2025: My review is for a Saturday night after 10 pm - so did not order any food. This is a large, beautiful bar with lots of seating options for individuals or groups. I sat at the bar and the service was attentive. There was a DJ playing pop hits mostly from 80s and newer and was outstanding - the best DJ I encountered in Dublin which made for a very fun and festival night. Not sure if there is live music at other times since I went late. Would highly recommend, was worth the short taxi ride from The temple bar area.
