I liked the bar and the staff but the price of a glass of wine was a total rip off. €9 for 125ml is very stingy especially from a wine tap. C’mon!!!

A great bar to spend the night, nice music and amazing cocktails

Was there for a 30th birthday party, nice place to visit. First went to a jazz session last year the atmosphere was amazing. Would definitely go again

I’ve been to The Big Romance a few times now. As always the cocktails are delicious and the atmosphere and music is banging. Unfortunately I think this place is confused as to what kind of bar it is and there are a few aspects that slightly irritate me every time I go. 1. There is no host. If you’re going to offer bookings on tables you need a host ! My friend and I were waiting in the entrance for a good 5/10 mins before we managed to get a bartender’s attention to ask about our booking. 2. The table bookings have a limit of 90mins, after which you get kicked off for the next booking :/ 3. There’s no table service; I feel like if you take bookings for tables, there should also be table service, or just scrap them both. 4. The One Society Pizzas are tiiinnnyyyyy. Idk who to direct this complaint to but €15-€16.50 for a pizza the size of my fist is just not on. I know it sounds like I’m complaining a lot but I really love a lot of aspects of The Big Romance. I know that if they just straightened these few issues out, they would be one of the top spots in Dublin for a night out.

Standard level of busy you'd expect for a Friday night in town. Staff were lovely. Although DJ plays from 8pm music is still at a reasonable volume that you can hold a conversation. Cocktails were lovely. Would love more of a food option than pizza from next door, but nice that you can even get that at all. Didn't try the pizza so no reference for how it is.

Excellent selection of beer & great cocktails! The service is great and the atmosphere has pulled me in for more than a few cozy dim lit nights. Highly recommend!

The barmen are super friendly and make some amazing cocktails. Music from the vinyls and live jazz make for vibrant atmosphere! Overall a Great cocktail bar and date spot.
