The Big Romance in Dublin

Such a vibey place for dates and hangouts. All the music is from vinyls chosen by a DJ or the bar staff, really fun selection of cocktails and drinks to chose from. The pizzas from next door are fairly expensive for not much but they do the job if you’re desperate. Overall such a good place. Make sure you reserve a table ahead!

The cocktails were amazing! Eddie is a master! Ask for his yet to be named cocktail with the cinnamon rim! Great listening bar! Constantly changing out the vinyl with great music!

Probably the nicest bar I've ever been to in town. Vibes were amazing, live jazz on Sunday night was brilliant, and when the jazz was over the music they played was at a volume where I could actually talk to my friends. Little bit cramped but it added to the atmosphere more than anything. Most of the bar was so clean and well decorated, but the bathroom didn't smell great (not that you're really gonna spend much time there). Biggest gripe was that the pizza was very expensive for how small it was- tasted great tho. Drinks are probably the same price any bar in town will set you back, maybe a little more considering how small the cocktails were. Servers on the night were so nice and service was excellent. As a college student it's pricey but to me, worth saving up a little to go back to for special occasions.

My wife and I love The Big Romance on Parnell Street, and it keeps us coming back time after time. The cozy atmosphere, vinyl-only music, and outstanding craft beers and cocktails make it a standout spot in Dublin. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable, and the high-quality sound system enhances the incredible mix of jazz, soul, and more. Whether for a casual evening or a live music event, The Big Romance always delivers a perfect night out.

This cocktail bar is hands down the place where I've had the best cocktails of my life (and I'm only 19, haha!). They were perfectly balanced, unique, and creative, and the bartender was incredibly friendly. I let him choose 2 out of my 3 cocktails, and both were absolutely delicious. Not to mention the amazing atmosphere, which has a really pleasant and cool vibe. We would definitely recommend this spot to anyone visiting Dublin!
