Old beautiful building, great friendly service and awesome music. Food was good, try the wings. If you want the real pub experience, this is the place. It was quiet when we arrived, but it picked up later and we had a great night. Highly recommended.

I have around a lot of Irish pubs in so many different countries , I can say with confidence this takes the cake, it is without a doubt the best pub in the world … and the staff are beyond amazing, the vibes, the Irish live music , the food and the creamiest Guinness you will ever taste , I can’t say enough …. The view of Dublin … see photo … I will definitely go back there every single time I go to Dublin

Great pub with great views outside.

Cosy, warm atmosphere. Lots of tables and nice fireplace to keep warm. Great pints. Amazing soup and soda bread. Great hiking trails behind the pub! Benches outside as well over looking the city. Beautiful spot!

The Blue Light Pub is the quintessential Dublin Mountains hideaway. Perched high above the city near Stepaside, it boasts arguably the best panoramic view of Dublin Bay you can find, especially at sunset. Inside, it’s all old-world charm with a cozy turf fire, wooden snugs, and friendly, local atmosphere. It's a proper traditional pub, and absolutely worth the winding drive or hill climb for a truly authentic pint with a spectacular backdrop.
