This was the first time I have visited the Greencastle Inn and I have to say the surroundings and the food was first class. Nothing was any problem for the chef ! The service staff were very pleasant and friendly. I would recommend it to anyone visiting
We ate here twice during our recent stay in Greencastle.
Delicious, locally sourced produce, perfectly prepared and served by helpful, friendly staff in a quirky informal setting.
Super location beside Northburgh Castle ruins, overlooking Greencastle pier and across Lough Foyle to Magilligan's Point.
Would definitely recommend the steak, and the Guinness was great. Will return at the next opportunity to try out the ribs!
We booked a table for four and we never visited this restaurant previously. We were not disappointed. The food was amazing and the portions were generous. The view from the restaurant was unbelievable and the staff were very helpful and friendly, in particular Scott. We cannot wait to visit again.
Our family of five(two adults and three kids) just visited this evening and had the carvery. Food was delicious, child under five ate for free which i thought was very good. Kids enjoyed they're meal(even the fussy eater). Amazing sea views from the restaurant, Excellent service from all staff. Highly recommend if you are passing by or staying in greencastle or surrounding areas.
