The Chatty Fox in Dublin

I used to staying with the owner Valerie when I did my Leaving Certificate a decade ago in Ireland. When I knew she's now owning a cafe, I came here to taste the food. I love the Chatty Fox Special, great taste of bacon on toast and latte. I love the chocolate brownie! 🤤 I'd recommend to my friends that whenever they visit Dublin, this is a place you must visit! Staff here and Valerie are doing an incredible job running the place. I will come back again next time here in Dublin. Matthew from Hong Kong, living in Derby, UK.

Nice cafe full of locals, which is always a good sign. They do a good full Irish and the staff are friendly and helpful. It's a lot bigger than it looks, but any time I've been in there were enough people there to give the place a bit of a buzz and a good atmosphere.

I went for breakfast the other day because I had an event nearby and it was the only cafe open in the area. The staff was friendly, but it's true that while they have a lot of food options, I ordered the Chatty Fox Special (toast with tomato relish, smashed avocado, a fried egg, and bacon) and it was quite disappointing. The avocado seemed 99% like pre-made guacamole from the supermarket; I'm not so sure about the tomato relish, but it could also be from a supermarket jar. The fried egg was overcooked, with a very dry yolk. The coffee wasn't bad; I would go back just for that, but not to eat.

Absolutely great local cafe, home made treats, delicious saborices and great value, staff so friendly too especially Joey - at least we think his name was Joey! Cheers Hugo n mary

We had the chatty fox cater for our son’s communion party today. Everything was absolutely fabulous, the sandwiches were amazing, plenty of hot food per platter more than enough, plates forks knives napkins all provided. Thank you Valerie we had such a great day.

5 stars – Great Coffee, Even Better Vibes Stopped by this coffee shop not too long ago, and it’s quickly become a favorite. The atmosphere is super chill, with a clean, modern feel and plenty of seating. The baristas were friendly and clearly knew their stuff—I had a cappuccino, and it was smooth, perfectly foamed, and full of flavor. They had a small but thoughtful selection of pastries too (the croissant was excellent). You can tell a lot of care goes into everything they serve. Definitely worth checking out if you’re in the area.

I sat outside with some friends. We had 3 prams and we had lots of room there. The goats cheese sambo was lovely. The staff were so nice, I left my phone and a staff member found me in the car park to return it. Very reasonably priced.

Staff are so friendly and nice and always try to accommodate you, food is lovely and tasty and prices are reasonable, I've become a regular customer here now. Would highly recommend.
