First time in ages eating in The Cock so I had to update my review. It's still the best pub in Swords by a country mile and I recommend itt to my customers in Malahide. The staff are friendly and personable, the entertainment is always energetic and creates a fantastic atmosphere, the Guinness is delish and the food is spectacular. I went for the beef enchiladas made with succulent slow-cooked brisket and it was amazing. Only order if you're half starved. Well done Paddy and all the team. The only problem is there aren't enough stars to award!

Was great until they turned up the football on the tv, hardly anyone watching it and it was so loud. People left and said they were going somewhere else, I asked for it to be turned down and it was initially but then right back up. Ruined what otherwise would have been a lovely evening.

10/05/2025: Definitely one of the largest shopping centres I've seen in Ireland. It has multiple entrances depending on which direction you're coming from. Inside, you can find everything from restaurants and supermarkets to pharmacies and even the post office. There are plenty of coffee shops where you can have a full meal or something small to grab like sandwiches or pizza slices. It's very easy to reach by public transport, bus number 41 from the city centre stops right in front. If you're driving, there’s plenty of parking available. Parking is free for the first 2 hours.

Cheekypea Vegan Meals

01/05/2025: We had a tasty lunch at this fairly hidden middle eastern fast food restaurant. The hummus was tasty, the falafel was freshly made, crunchy and slightly spicy, the salads were fresh and interesting and I can confirm that the pitta bread is excellent which is very important. I recommend asking for the spicy green chilli dip, it's brilliant and not too hot. The prices are very fair and the service is fast and friendly. There are plenty of seats inside and a couple of tables outside. Highly recommended
