The Cock Tavern, menu in Swords

I ordered a burger which was very good after I added a whole packet of ketchup and mayonnaise (it was a bit dry) I'm not sure what it was called but it was the most expensive and had onion rings on it. Only real issue I had and why I didn't give it the 5 stars is the stamp they put on top of the Burger. They burned it on with something like a hot iron but every bite I took, this bit was right under my nose and smelt like burning paper.

Really nice pub. Excellent music upstairs.

There are plenty of televisions in the establishment on game nights (so it's a bit noisy), but you get into the atmosphere. Then, after the game, the band starts playing. It was great! Good cocktails, good cold beers, and hearty food.

Late medieval carriage house that has morphed over the years into the equivalent of a modern Prancing Pony. Rooms in the back aren't always blaring football so you can have a nice meal and drink if you aren't into the teams. Large pub with great food and even nicer staff. Stopped in for a pint and had the carnitas nachos. It was lunch time so not that many people in there. Place is alot bigger then it looks. Food was good and the waitress was a sweetheart. Would definitely go back here.
