Not just a pub Guesthouse too. Our usual hotel was book for the Bank holiday so we took a chance on this bar/guesthouse and so glad we did. Rooms have separate entrance from bar which we were taken by bar attendant ( even offered to carry bags) Entrance was bright and clean, staircase to upper level with four rooms. Rooms are clean and newly done up. For only two of us for two night stay, space was great. Double bed, 2 nite stands , closet, TV , small desk and bench ( tea and coffee station, water bottle, glasses). En suite was bigger than expected and every clean. There was no issue with noice even though we were next to bar and on a main Street. Even though there is no breakfast not an issue. There are many places in town including Belly's cafe and Grace. We will be back again.

Best bar in the town. Should be much higher in the list of best bars in the town on any day of the week. Tried many other bars in the town as per recommendations and always start and finish in this pub. Great staff Good background music Great atmosphere Shocked it's not the top pick!
