The Dawson Lounge in Dublin

My friend David (born in Riga) went here and ordered a gin and tonic. Following the transaction, he was asked if he would like a tampon to accompany his beverage. It was hilarious.

It's our favorite Pub in Dublin now! 💚 We ended up in here on the first day of our Ireland Tour and got to watch the FIFA Game 2026 Austria vs Argentina (sadly we lost 😢) and returned at our last evening (10 days later) to watch England vs. Kongo ⚽ and of course drink our favorite beers 🐑🍀 The barkeeper is so nice and even remembered us! Cheers! 🍻

Dawson LoungeClick to open side panel for more information is legendary for being one of the smallest spots in the city, but it's remarkably welcoming. It was the perfect place to step out of the bustle of Dublin and just enjoy a good beer. A must-visit for anyone who appreciates character over size.

Smallest pub in Dublin... brilliant and a cracking pint o Guiness

Love it here! Used to be a wine cellar! 314sqft of fun. Bartenders (Nick and Fletch!) are awesome. 👏🏼 Gave lots of recommendations on other pubs and places to eat. Super small but everyone is friendly. Gets loud the later it gets and you have to almost yell to your mates but that’s part of the fun. I’ve come here nearly every evening of my stay and it’s been the saving grace of my Dublin trip. Thanks guys!!

Smallest pub in Dublin, must see for any visitors. Hidden gem.

Met some American tourist friends here for a few pints. It was fun! During busy tourist season and weekends I recommend showing up early to avoid lines or crowds because... well... it is small inside. But the service was quick and friendly, and we found a private booth to sit around and chat and catch up with great friends. Fun memories forever now!

My favorite tiny Pub in the world. There were 12 patrons down there and it felt busy. Very fun to venture into the depths. My pint of Guiness was nearly perfect. The baby guiness was also very fun. After a few pints and shots, the staircase was formidable, but ultimately we diligently made it to street level unscathed.

A super cute little bar with friendly staff who quickly prepare drinks. The space isn't large, so it's not suitable for claustrophobes or those with haptic phobias. We enjoyed it.
