Lovely hotel! I went a few times to babysit and highly recommend for a night out , is very unique

The room over looked Copper Faced Jack nightclub. Although the windows helped block a lot out but it was still audible. You can use the bluetooth speaker to even it out for sleep but for the price I'm not impressed. Add on to that the pillows are the slimmest I've had yet which didn't help with the situation. The room itself was lovely, with the LPs and player readily accessible. What was confusing was the glasses for the non complimentary drinks but only paper ups for the tea and coffee. It's important to bear in mind when booking that the lifts don't seem to open on to the floor directly, there is some stairs. This might be for specific floors but was the case with everyone I was travelling with.

+ The hotel is at walking distance from the city center and main attractions. - The hotel is neighbor to a nightclub, literally next door. If you express a desire to sleep before 3am, you are re-booked in the adjacent townhouse, which is supposed to be more quite (unfortunately in my case the occupants of the room next to mine had a big party until 4.30am, despite the manager’s numerous interventions). Although the townhouse is very charming, it absolutely does not equal the level of service and equipments that you expect from the 4 stars hotel that you paid for when booking.

Good rooms, and food, however the proximity to night clubs make it a bit noisier than what an average business/family traveler would expect . I had a neon sign shine into the room from its wide windows at night, and the curtains were not doing their best job.

Wedding @ The Dean Hotel We had our wedding at The Dean Hotel in The Blue Room last week, and just wanted to leave a review for Tom who was managing our event on the night. Tom went above and beyond to ensure that not only myself and Cian were happy, but that my parents and family were looked after so personally and so well throughout the evening. Tom is an absolute credit to The Dean, and is the reason the night went as smoothly as it did. The Food at our wedding meal was 10/10 and the house wine served with dinner went down a treat with all of our guests. Our wedding planning experience with The Dean was also quite relaxed, and Niamh who assisted us throughout was very helpful. Overall the whole process went very well. Niamh was very flexible in allowing us to use various elements of our wedding package in alternative ways that suited us and our guests best, and we are very grateful. My only let down with the Dean is the price of their rooms. As we were the Bride and Groom, we were offered a 15% discount on our stay at the hotel. I believe this is the only venue we looked at where the hotel room was not included in the events package. The room rate was €330 for the night (including the 15% off), which did not include breakfast. The pricing of the rooms meant that none of our guests stayed on site, and all of them stayed in neighbouring hotels in the area which were much better value.

Room was a little small for a big fat American but still very nice. Service was great when we needed it.
