Waitress peeped the hangover, cordial on ice provided asap, sorted. Really set the tone for what was to come. Scran was just what Dr. Netwatch Cullen ordered; infallible, generous, delicious, well-cooked. Would frequent. Would recommend. 1bill / 5

Such a gem of a pub! The staff are just lovely and the patrons are just the same. Wide selection of beverages and the quality of the food was excellent. Great spot for breakfast and live sports, I look forward to our next visit !

Dining out in this country has become extremely expensive but luckily, The Derreen, Tullow Carlow is EXCELLENT VALUE FOR MONEY. Home cooked food at an acceptable price.

Riverside Cantonese Takeaway

14/09/2025: Food is always amazing and doesn’t disappoint . however there is a young girl that works doing phone. My family ordered a few different things off the menu for my birthday, nothing complex and the order was wrong, only realised when the food was checked at home. It was an ordeal trying to get the food correct and trying to speak to someone more senior, this isn’t the first time it’s happened. So check your food before you leave!!!
23/06/2025: Hard to get thru on the phone.. says open on the app and drove down and was closed .. but food is very good 👍

Jade Dragon Chinese Take Away

11/10/2025: Really good Chinese food. Always tasty and fresh. Service is also fast. Probably the best take away in the area.
