The Devon Inn in Templeglantine

What can we say. We had the most amazing experience with the Devon Inn Hotel. Mary Sheehan is an amazing coordinator and even though we planned our wedding from Australia she was efficient in her communication and understood exactly what we envisioned for our wedding from the very beginning. Mary guided us from start to finish, helped us with any questions we had and was so accommodating with any request we had. We absolutely loved our big day from start to finish and would pick the Devon Inn again and again. The food, service and accommodation were all exceptional. All of our guests were blown away and had nothing but good things to say about our amazing day. Highly recommend the Devon Inn for any event especially weddings. 10/10

Stayed for two nights this week while traveling for work and had a great experience. The hotel is very well-maintained, with polite and professional staff. The entrance and corridors were beautifully decorated for Christmas, giving a warm and festive vibe. The room was spacious and lovely, adding to the overall rich feel of the place. Breakfast was also quite good. A very pleasant stay!

The service was very slow. As a solo person, I was forgotten about had to get waiters' attention to order my mains and dessert. The place was packed. I often wonder if they take on too many bookings, especially when they don't have the staff. The food was nice and is reasonably priced, but should have a notice outside saying bookings only. I just turned up and was waiting about 30 mins as I was unaware of this. I even checked their Facebook page and nothing was said about bookings. To avoid waiting book ahead

Recently attended a family wedding at this hotel September 20th. Accommodation was clean and organised. Food was of good quality and presented uniformly for banqueting. Promises is well maintained, with a relaxed atmosphere and has ample parking. Banqueting staff were efficient during service, making our experience comfortable. However, banqueting bar staff did refused to take a drinks order for our table to quote "we don't do that" commented one of five bar staff members!!! This I found astonishing for both revenue and job description............ Eventually, the server at our table organised our drinks order to be taken. Overall , a lovely hotel with the majority of staff providing an excellent professional service in hospitality .⭐⭐⭐ Thank you.

Stayed here for a wedding. The food was fantastic, tasty, plentiful. Service was brillant. All the staff friendly and helpful.

Thoroughly enjoyed staying there great food,good drink and a lovely breakfast the morning after,would recommend a visit.
