A very cozy family owned pub! Everyone was friendly and welcoming, the Guiness was perfect, the atmosphere was that of being in a living room. Not a large selection on food, only a few pizzas. They weren’t bad, nothing to write home about either. Perfect if you’ve just set up camp nearby and need a place to eat so the beer stays down better! Thank you for your hospitality!

Cozy pub, quite busy inside. Had pizza for 12 euros and it was really tasty, nice and hot. TVs showing sports. People were playing pool inside. And friendly customers who strike up a conversation. I was alone and that felt fine in this pub. Nice place to go if you are staying at the campsite for a night and don't want to cook.

Ballymaloe House

17/05/2026: We had an amazing experience here! We spent 3 nights at Ballymaloe and loved every minute. It is an absolutely stunning hotel in the peaceful Irish countryside. The room was clean, beautifully decorated, had heated floors and a heated towel rack, and the comfiest bed! Our room even had a small patio overlooking the gardens. Service was great as well. The morning breakfast was absolutely delicious and the afternoon tea and cake was a nice way to spend an afternoon. We had the 5 course dinner on property one night- which was also delicious. The employees are all so kind and helpful. 10/10 would recommend Ballymaloe to anyone! And would love to come back one day!

Killashee Hotel

13/07/2026: Stunning Hotel, exceptional quality for the price, all the facilities 1 would need, very friendly staff. Lovely food. Staff are very friendly & helpful. Got a helipad incase you arrive in your personal helicopter. 😅 I'll definitely be back, but for longer next time.
