The Dropping Well in Dublin

It’s a pretty location by the river, and I think a good spot for a drink. Unfortunately our waitress was not very happy from the get-go, which soured the ambience. The salads and chips were marginal, at best.

Was here for the next day, informal get together for a class reunion. Busy place. We had a back room to ourselves. Staff did a great job of keeping us supplied with food and drinks The food was also great. Great pub grub!

Very generous Irish breakfast, very kind waitress, magnificent setting, I recommend it for big eaters!

Food is very good. Had the stir fry 2 times running.. v v tasty. They have their own gf lager too which is great.

Great lunch, but was so busy it took a little longer than expected. Despite that A+

Love the place! Came few times for breakfast. Food is made with quality products and is really delicious. Service is really good!

Not busy but waitress was so rude. Chowder had hardly any fish

The Dropping Well became our local pub during our stay in Dublin. Great food in a lovely setting. The service was very attentive. I had the best Irish coffee of my life here. They make it with Teeling Small Batch, which makes it wonderfully mild.

It was simply amazing. Personal. The view. The walk afterward. It was a wonderful break from the city. And so easy to reach by tram. It's worth it. And we would do it again anytime. We thank Trish, the manager ❤️ We especially thank our tip-off, a Mexican student 😍 whose name we unfortunately don't know.
