Classic neighbourhood spot with 4 bars including function rooms. Food is always solid but nothing fantastic. Front bar is good for sports.

Been going there since 1963. But the price of a pint has gone up a bit: 1963: 1s 11d (= <10 cents) 2025: >€7!! Still, the nice cosy atmosphere prevails through all those decades.

05/03/2025: Really relaxed morning vibe, the poached egg, avocado and coffee were all perfect. Great spot!
04/03/2025: THE BEST SCONES IN DUBLIN. The owner is so kind, and the food and coffee is excellent. Be sure to get a scone, because even if you don't like scones these will be the best you have ever had. The PERFECT consistency of buttery, flakey, and delicious.

19/03/2025: Dine here often - staff are very friendly amd customer focused. I have a daughter who is on the spectrum and the staff are always very accomodating when we visit. Food is always top class - recommend to all.
11/03/2025: Eat two evenings...two atmospheres, Friday evening and Sunday evening... More lively on Friday and more family-friendly on Sunday. Regardless, the food is good and well prepared. Price benchmarked against others nearby.
