Fast service, decent food at good prices, shame there's no background music

This place gets a lot of negative reviews, and while there are definitely some issues, overall there’s a lot to recommend. The location and view are absolutely first rate, and on a clear evening the view of the water is exceptional. The pints are pretty good and mostly very cheap, and the place is clean, although more like an airport canteen than a pub. There’s no music which can make the room a bit dead, but it’s good for chatting, and the service is sometimes very busy, leaving you at the bar for ages at busy times. For what it does, it’s pretty good.

Good value for money, always happy to try new beers. Staff is more than helpful! Even in emergency like someone is collapsed in the barhrooms. Appreciated 🙂

Morally I shouldn't eat in Weatherspoons! But the views of the bay to Howth & the upper floor - make up for it. Cheap breakfast, no rush, exceptional staff - Irish produce!

It was nice to be able to sit out and have food and drink at the forty foot. Great value for food, 8 euros for burger and beer.

Cheap and cheerful, ladies toilets up a long flight of stairs, bit of a trek.
