Based on our tasting experiences (though we're not culinary experts), the sweets here are great. We ordered a pastel de nata, a pistachio cookie, and a slice of cake (with a chocolate base and a pearl-colored cream topping), and they were delicious.
For the savory options, we tried two focaccias—one semi-sweet with walnuts and cheese and the other with onion—and a meat sandwich. Unfortunately, we found them to be quite dry and bland. While we're not fans of dressings, we think a drizzle of extra virgin olive oil, some avocado, or hummus might improve them.
Nonetheless, we highly recommend this spot for its cozy and charming atmosphere, which is perfect for enjoying some quality time.
Note: The venue combines a café area with a supermarket space.

Great place for brunch or lunch, Iovely food and atmosphere here. The only thing is the wifi is very poor - unconnectable, so I would leave my laptop home next time.

This is a lovely spot for breakfast, lunch, a coffee with friends or to get some work done - and if that's not enough, you can even do some shopping!
The Fumbally's space is mostly covered by the café area with plenty of indoor seating. Get your coffee fixings and a nice and tasty bite to eat, be it of the savory or the sweet variety (the pastel de nata is amazing!). There is an ever-changing offer of sandwiches, and the menu is suitable for vegetarians. Oh and don't forget the focaccia!
But then there's also the little deli corner where you can buy specialty food and homemade bread - what a cool idea. It gives the space a wholly different dynamic, in my opinion.
I personally like to come in earlier during the week to do some work and have a treat, but it's a good choice any time of the day or week! Definitely check this one out!

A cold Jan day outside but not as cold as the plates holding the food. Why oh why? Very limited breakfast menu, chose Fumbally eggs served with bacon bits (+3). No other offering of bacon anywhere to be seen. Trendy plate of scrambled eggs on sourdough toast served with kale and hot sauce (too hot for my taste). I did eat all of it however, probably as I was so cold. Limited coffee choice too. Filter coffee like going back in time. No flat white/cappuccino etc. Maybe they're no longer trendy in Dublin. Friendly staff, interesting, great bakery (large sourdough 6). Wanted to like it more as recommended by friends. A few tweaks and it could be really great. Being original and different is an admirable small business ethos but don't forget the basics! Wife enjoyed it more than me I must admit. You might too. Give it a whirl.

Ci siamo fermati in questo locale per una pausa pranzo veloce. Il locale è diviso a metà: una parte per il take away e una parte con tavoli per mangiare lì. Il menù è piuttosto limitato ma la qualità degli ingredienti è ottima. Abbiamo preso due panini con carne del giorno, che purtroppo ci sono stati serviti freddi, così come il krafen/donut. Non viene pulito il tavolo tra un cliente e l'altro. Servizio da rivedere.

Siamo state qui per un brunch tra amiche e abbiamo mangiato davvero bene. Il servizio è estremamente gentile e disponibile e i prezzi onesti. La qualità del cibo è ottima e la varietà dei prodotti proposti spazia dal dolce al salato.
Da provare assolutamente i loro panini del giorno con il pane fatto in casa.
Assolutamente consigliato.
Non vedo l’ora di tornare!
