The Gasworks in Dublin

I’ve been coming here regularly to play pool. Had the pleasure of meeting the new manger Colin last night. He made me feel very welcome and is definitely bringing a bit of needed life and spirit into this spot ! Looking forward to coming back

Staying at the Grand Canal Hotel, we opted for this place for dinner. Very good service, a quiet atmosphere, and good food.

Lovely bar , had a great vibe about it, fairly busy when we got there , but served very quickly by efficient bar staff , place is bright and spacious, football on the TV and good pint of Guinness .

Amazing seafood chowder and brilliant service and atmosphere. Haven’t had such a good chowder in a while. Massive portion. Highly recommended 👍

Seafood chowder was thick and creamy, loaded with delicious fish. Full meal in itself.

This has to be one of the best Tagliatelle Alfredos I have ever had. The Tagliatelle is made in house, and the alfredo sauce has the perfect balance of richness and parmesan, topped with grana padano shavings. Served with garlic ciabatta. I was a couple of butes into the Tagliatelle before I realized what I was experiencing. I also had the opportunity to try their homemade Guinness Bread, which reminded me of th perfect bran muffin. If you get the chance to try it, take it.

Pub with drinks and food. Not bad. A lot of space and dishes are pretty big. Though I don't see it as a gastro bar. It is rather bar with some food. Ok anyway :)

Had a meal here prior to a trip the next morning. The food was really good (I had the special, roast beef) and the staff were great and I loved the Art Deco decor.

Loved the atmosphere of the place. Really beautiful and clean this is the first thing that I pay attention to. It was Wed so the place was not crowded and we were ok just to walk-in. We haven't even sat down and ordered drinks right away as we came for one specific drink advertised in Dublin Cocktail Week. 10 min later we ordered food. The whole order was served together which is not bad but no one asked if we wanted it that way. Waiting for drinks for 15-20 min in a non crowded place is not exactly justified. But the cocktail was amazing, it looked the same as in the booklet, the taste was fantastic. The food was good too , we had spicy chicken wings and ice cream, everyone enjoyed whatever they had. Overall impression is good, added this place to my list as one of those I will gladly visit again.
