The George in Dublin

Tuesday night, pubs on Thomas Street closed at 11:30. We didn't want to go home, nor to Temple Bar, my drinking buddy had the inspirational idea of going to The George. The place was hopping and being straight guys, with a serious lack of dance moves, we popped into the bar where we had some lovely pints, and had a great chat with some of the regulars. A pint of Moretti was cracking value at 7.20 Euro.

Such a favourite place off mine when I visit dublin..always have the best off entertainment and bar staff lovely...great location also...

Great place. Visited it 3x while we were here for the week. DJ Ruth is a national treasure. And love the no-bachelorette-party policy! Gay bars are not a zoo for the straights. We'll keep coming back.

From what we could gather, this was one of the few LGBTQ+ clubs that was open late and had a spot to dance. It was a great space and the atmosphere was fun, but the "no drinks on the dance floor" was a big vibe ruiner. The back patio was packed and I think I inhaled a pack of cigarettes from just being out there. The drinks were a little light on the pour.

Nice hotel, comfortable rooms, very kind staff, the only flaw and not a small one is the restaurant where they have breakfast... it is absolutely not 4 stars but 2

I was having a quick nap and they gave out to me? And too much straight music I’m confused thought it was a gay bar? Best place in Dublin but like be fr it’s changing to accommodate the straights? Like hello.

Such a lovely place to enjoy in Dublin, special pride week and we had an incredible experience there, all the staff are absolutely fantastic, no words to describe how delighted we were all the time. Stunning cocktails by Paolo, the best service everywhere thanks especially to Pawel, Armando, Guillerme, Thais, Berna, Caro, Djonathan, Arthur, bartenders high level.

Good music; depending on the DJ playing, it can be very good or boring. A good drag show and prices comparable to other venues.

Ive never had a bad nite or a bad pint here! Staff and door staff are always very welcoming to us and the Guinness from the bar is perfect
