The George in Dublin

My friend was drunk & even if he was not bad with the crowd , they ask him to leave but very kindly & respectful The bouncer tooks time to explain him the rules & a member of staff accepted to go inside & look for a bag my friend forgot ! They were strict but patience & nice. Thanks for him

The George is the oldest and largest gay bar in Dublin. Fantastic nightclub. All sorts of events happen here. Great selection of beers, wines and spirits. The NA Guinness is actually great! My favorite part of The George is the small pub attached called Bridies. Great spot that feels like a traditional pub. It's a great place to meet locals. Service everywhere was fantastic. Very friendly and helpful staff.

Please, tell your staff when they come to get your nearly empty drink glass, to ask the person who is close if they finish it or not. It is really rude to remove someone glass without they are ready to finish it. It happened twice in a row with me tonight. Managers, teach your staff to understand it.

BEST EXPERIENCE EVER. Came yesterday on a Friday night 3/7/26, the cocktail bar worker offered an amazing mocktail I was very satisfied with and the staff member was so attentive and genuine. The event itself was fantastic the go go dancers were impressive and super energetic! This place feels so safe and inclusive I would highly recommend to anyone and everyone even if you're not too big into bars or drinking. There was face paint and entertainment that set the energy well. I don't understand the reviews complaining about bouncers, they were so smiley, respectful and professional. Not a bad bone in them, did their job well and they communicated nicely and respectfully. DJ was sound and music was great. Would love to return. 1000/10

The big bouncer with curly hair and a piercing on his nose is rude and discriminate against people, he should be removed from that pub since is supposed The George is an inclusive place

Great spot in the city for queers. I have been a couple of times while visiting Dublin and always had a good night out. Drink prices are very reasonable too for it's location, expect to pay around €6.40 for a pint and €7.20 for a single vodka and coke. Always lots of entertainment on!

Very welcoming bar with very kind staff and the security are always excellent. I just wish the george was bigger because it can get so packed. I also wish they served food but none of this is the George's fault lol lots of love for this place

I had such a great time!!! Highly recommended. I went on the Sunday they have bingo. You'll definitely go back a thousand times, I laughed so much!
