The Giddy Dolphin Pub in Dublin

The Giddy Dolphin Pub in Temple Bar is a fantastic spot! It's got a great atmosphere with good music playing, making it a perfect place to spend some quality time with friends. They have a good selection of beer too, which is always a plus. Definitely recommend it if you're looking for a lively and enjoyable pub experience in the area.

This is a great spot. The sports bar has pool, football tables and darts as well as multiple TVs to watch whatever game is on. Plenty of staff with nice, quick service. There's even a small band stage for music. The food is smash burger type fair which is just great with a few beers.

Not what I expected. The place itself is cool to hang out with friends – they have darts, foosball, and pool tables, which is a nice touch. But overall, I wouldn’t come back anytime soon. The food is extremely basic, nothing special at all. Some staff members seemed friendly, but the woman who appeared to be the supervisor (possibly Brazilian, like me) looked very stressed and didn’t seem interested in making customers feel welcome. I even noticed some staff (also Brazilian) chatting behind the bar, and honestly, it felt like they were gossiping about every customer that walked in. When I joined my friends at a table, there weren’t enough chairs for me and my girlfriend. I went to grab two from an empty area, but the supervisor approached me in an annoyed tone, saying I couldn't take them because the tables were "reserved" – even though there were no signs indicating that. I asked if I could take chairs from another spot and she said yes, but she didn’t smile or show any warmth at all. The service felt indifferent at best. It’s a decent spot for group games, but if you're looking for good food or respectful service, there are better options.

Went in the early afternoon. Played darts and drank Guinness. Great music, large open planned area, would 100% recommend.

Pretty fun atmosphere, snocker tables and darts.

Place is brilliant, like really relaxed, cool atmosphere. 7.70 a pint of Guinness was a little bit of tear jerker though which us why I gave 4 stars, couldn't justify that price. That said I'd come back as it was a ton of fun
