The Glenside Hotel in Drogheda

Outstanding staff, great food, and the rooms have been updated

Had dinner there with friends in Henry's restaurant. The hotel has undergone extensive updating. A lot done, more to do. But upgrading and refurbishment already completed is fantastic. Food is very good as it always has been. A great place for a family meal or celebration.

Just stopped by here for lunch. Great carvery with good choices. Priced reasonably. Lovely, friendly and helpful staff. Very clean.

We have stayed here a few times. Staff and service are pretty good. The food is decent, too. Rooms are budget, small and decor very cheap. More B&B style. But the beds are comfy, and that's what matters to most. Me included.

Absolute gem of a hotel in Drogheda, a little off the beaten track location wise. Food superb , staff amazing, rooms quality , comfortable and spotless. Recently visited again , no better Hotel in Drogheda.

We were lucky enough to have our wedding at the Glenside in May and can’t speak highly enough of the care that Karen and Aogan took care of us during the whole process. Even though we live in Canada, the team’s responsiveness and professionalism made it feel no more complicated than if we had been planning it locally. The venue looked absolutely beautiful, and the vendors that the Glenside have chosen to work with are incredible. The menus on the tables had even been updated to include a photo taken mere hours before by our fabulous photographer Vaidotas. The food and wine were also beautiful, with one of our guests remarking it had been the best food he had ever had at a wedding! We’re so thrilled that we chose the Glenside for our wedding, and would never hesitate to recommend it to anyone for their special day. Thanks again to Karen, Aogan and team for everything – we’re so grateful.
