The Goose Tavern in Dublin

Really enjoyed my visit here. The service was excellent and Lana behind the bar was amazing, friendly, attentive, and made the whole experience even better. Will definitely be back!

Really decent local pub, friendly, efficient service from professional bar staff. Nice mixed clientele with a friendly atmosphere and a more than decent pint of Guinness. It is one of those longstanding local pubs we need to hold onto.

A local place to grab a traditional Guinness.

A tavern frequented by locals where you can drink beer and watch football. The place is full of screens for watching live sports. They don't have their own kitchen; if you want food, they bring it in from a nearby restaurant. But they only serve it a few days a week. The day we went, they were very kind enough to let us order pizzas.

Had a great time going to the Goose tavern. Was looking for something less touristy and found it! We both had the fish and chips and it was delicious, and honestly very affordable for Dublin. It was initially a little bit of confusion on where to order as you had to order at the bar, because the staff didn't come to the table until we ordered. Lots of TVs with sound very low so you could watch the hurling games but also still engage in nice conversation with your neighbors. I'd recommend it!
