The Grayson in Dublin

Great place, good service and good food. But on a hot day without AC get really hot

Beautiful restaurant, service was great, and the food and drinks were some of the absolute best we’ve had in Ireland.

We had a lovely lunch here. Both the Caesar salad and steak sandwich were good. Our server was attentive.

We had our wedding day 2 at the Grayson. We booked the atrium and terrace and couldn’t be happier. Not only did they allow us to arrive earlier than expected (as Dublin town was extremely busy that Saturday) they were so accommodating with our music. Matthew was amazing organising everything and was very accommodating to all of our requests. Monica looked after us on the day and could not have done more for us and our guests. I can’t recommend The Grayson enough.

Had a wonderful dinner at The Grayson. The restaurant itself is beautiful, with an ivy-covered exterior and a stylish glass courtyard that creates an elegant but relaxed atmosphere. For mains, the Grilled King Oyster Mushroom, White Bean “Cassoulet,” Braised Radicchio, Pistou was hearty and satisfying with deep, comforting flavors, and the pistou was incredible. The bright, herbaceous green sauce added freshness and balance that elevated the entire dish. The Pan Roasted Halibut, Confit Potato, Spinach, Sauce Noisette, Capers, Tomato was outstanding. The halibut was perfectly cooked with a delicate buttery texture, and the sauce brought everything together without overpowering the fish. Service was warm and professional through most of the evening, but toward the end of the meal our waiter disappeared for quite a while. After a long day and growing fatigued, we eventually had to wave someone down to let them know we had finished and were ready for the check. Even with that hiccup at the end, the food, atmosphere, and overall experience made for a memorable dinner in Dublin.

A very nice and beautiful venue. I like the whole mansion theme. Really creates a special atmosphere. The food was hit and miss: some dishes were very well done, some others were just ok. The portobello dish had little to no mushroom in it and was quite plain. The meat and desserts on the other hand, were very good. The main miss was the service: our waiter was visibly inexperienced and stressed. He kept bumping into guests, re-asking same questions and kept speaking too much. I know he tried, but the experience was awkward. Overall, not a bad experience, but it had it’s downsides.

Private event with good service and attention to needs. A special mocktail was created by the Grayson staff for the occasion. Finger food was very good and plentiful.
