03/06/2026: While the food is good the wait is too long for it too be delivered. And when it does come it comes a plate at a time. They don’t have enough staff (only one) and had taken on too many takeaways so can not service the restaurant. It’s a shame as they are vey nice but totally not appropriate for a quick mid week dinner.

03/06/2026: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ After completing a 20km run around North London, I was craving a good bowl of ramen and stumbled across Midori Japanese Restaurant. What an absolute gem. My phone was on 1% battery after tracking the run, and before I had even taken a seat, the staff kindly offered to charge it for me. It’s the small things like that which make a lasting impression. Despite being only a couple of minutes away from closing, the waiter and staff were incredibly welcoming and friendly. There was no sense of being rushed, just genuine hospitality from start to finish. I ordered the chilli beef ramen as my main, along with tempura prawns and an octopus starter. Everything was beautifully presented, packed with flavour, and arrived surprisingly quickly. The ramen was exactly what I needed after a long run. The ambience gave a real authentic Japanese feel, making the whole experience even more enjoyable. What stood out most, however, was the customer service. Even after closing, they allowed me to enjoy my meal at my own pace without any pressure to leave. A fantastic dining experience all round. Great food, great atmosphere, and exceptional service.
