29/10/2023: Ordered the seafood chowder which came with homemade Guiness brown bread. The chowder was okay but very watery & lacking in seafood. The bread was quite nice but a little stale & tasted like it was sitting out all day. Ordered another serving for takeaway… although it was the same price, the portion was significantly smaller… however, this one didn’t taste watery & was thick & creamy how chowder should be & had much larger prawns & chunks of fish. Very strange indeed! My boyfriend got the double cheese & bacon burger which he enjoyed. The onion ring garnish was very tasty & the chips were okay. The staff became a lot less attentive when they realised we weren’t drinking which was a little odd. They let us help ourself from a big box of Halloween sweets as we were paying which was very nice of them.

16/10/2023: Ambiance is lovely but the food wasn’t great. Had prawn and mussel linguine and it was basically pasta with a bunch of cream, some shrimp and 5 mussels, I had to add a load of salt and pepper just to make it palatable. My partner had the cheeseburger which was decent, however, the accompanying chips were very meh. I guess there isn’t much choice around so they don’t have to try that hard.
