The Kitchen Table in Abbeyfeale

Always a fabulous meal here, excellent service, great service, delicious food!

This place is very cute. It was confusing to us travelers since we didn't know if we had to order at the counter or sit down and wait to be served. There were menus at each table so we checked to see if we liked the food choices, and then we were told how ordering works. it would be nice to have a sign or something for people like us. There is an upstairs for seating, but we found it occupied by very loud school students, but they looked like they were having fun and having a good meal. We were also not sure how to pay and realized you go to the register. They had quite a selection of menu items, and we found our food to be good. We were dismayed that the salad that comes with the sandwich had dressing on it and then they put coleslaw on top of that, which was very heavy on the mayonnaise. We would have liked that separate and my husband could not eat his because he does not care for mayo. The soup was delicious and the service was fantastic. We recommend this restaurant!
