Good pints. Bright and Modern decor. Good menu. A lively place. Good 80's DJ on Saturday evening.

Came here for a weekend for a friends birthday. Choose this pub out of the blue...can not honestly recommend anywhere else in the area for amazing good, atmosphere and utter joyous time. Thank you

Well looked after ,well run pub/ restaurant

We were going for a pint in Rory o'conners beside the ashleaf, but it was too full, way to full for 6 lads in their 30s are we even lads anymore? Struggling middle agers. Anyways, we made our way to the laurels. And it was very much a delightful experience, nice pints of Guinness and staff were very friendly, there was a group of young people there. Someone's birthday, they seemed to have a good time too. Everyone wins

Excellent food friendly owner and staff

Food is dirt. Ribs were cold and soggy with barely any flavour and the wings must have come from a quail. Oriental stir fry was dreadful, was just noodles in corriander and hot water with lumps of chicken and brocolli. Sent back almost two full plates of food and got charged full price regardless.
