The Laurels in Dublin

Have gone here for lunch several times, Service always good, reasonably priced, food always excellent. Would recommend.

I popped back into this pub after being away for a while, and wow, I’m so glad I did! They must’ve changed the chef because the food has been incredible lately. I had an amazing meal – everything was super tasty and well put together. The pub itself is still nice and cozy, and the staff are always really friendly. Definitely happy I gave it another go!

The Doormen take offence if you have a drink in any of the other pubs in the village .Numerous times turned away as we came across from Quinlans

On trips home to Ireland this year, I have dropped into The Laurels on Saturdays for lunch, a pint and to watch the football showing. On each occasion, I have been made to feel very welcome (not something I always experience as a solo traveller) and found the staff to be friendly and attentive. The barman, Thomas, is particularly excellent and is an asset to this organisation. The Guinness is top notch and the food has always been very good with the service both efficient and polite. Very tasteful decor in the lounge and a nice atmosphere in general. I'll definitely be back on future trips back to Dublin.
